It is a suggestion and wlhy you do not take the Reaper model?, it seems excellent to me, you pay 60 dollars and it entitles you to updates for two versions.

First VST3, then Linux (for obvious reasons).

1) VST3 AGREE - maybe will see it in 9.5 or 10 version.
2)What im really want in future versions : Full Notation editor- for my opninion - if Mulab complex Daw- it should be in any serious software.
3)ADD more good EQ, mix and mastering tools in standard release package of Mulab.
4)More rich documentation- with examples files and tutorials for MUX Modular system.

2) MIDI editor needs to be much better before even attempting notation, IMHO.

IMO better hardware instrument support is needed, the midi workflow may be cool for plugins and whatnot, it leaves much to be desired for hardware users. A simple built in hardware interface device with dedicated midi/audio routing and latency compensation would be helpful.
*Maybe some kind of playlist for the clip launcher ala' FL Studio or Reason (blocks) would be nice as well.

If we were voting for what was most important to be in V9 it would be support for vst3 above all other "needs", just to make MuLab "credible". Its ok saying you can use "this or that" to get around the lack of vst3 compatibility (which I do) , but think of it from someone who is new and looking for a DAW, lack of vst3 compatibility is a mark against MuLab, even before being demo'd.

Next to VST3 you have the MPE function where Ableton is not yet capable to implement while it’s one of the strong points in Bitwig and fast becoming a must-have feature.

What I'd like to see are more modules dedicated to probability and such so that one could create generative patches between the modular area and track list (kinda like what Bitwig is doing).shorty wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 11:55 am awesomewith probability, so there´d be a percentage to set the chance to actually play the clip or jump to the next one or a random one?????

I like the current model, even if the software would go for a higher price. I wonder about the "for-life" model but it worked for Fruity Loops (I can imagine where it might bring in users and I can imagine cases where it wouldn't).mutools wrote: Thu Jul 23, 2020 8:09 am Offering both the current license model and a free-for-life model theoretically is an option too but it would add complexity to the shop and to the admin and that's an important disadvantage.
