Strange, I find the Unison section very good, all modes sound fine to me, unlike on many other synths.Vortifex wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 1:58 pm Demoing this and it actually sounds pretty nice. Just one big downside for me and that's the unison. Engaging it causes that lasery attack sound typical of retriggering oscillators. It doesn't happen with the simulated unison, just the proper one. Makes it mostly unusable for me for sounds with fast attack.
By the way, what does the E stand for?

Thanks! Are you sure oscillator 'restart' is not enabled? (the small |< icon above the 2 oscillators?)Vortifex wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 5:43 pm Here's a file to demonstrate. 16 notes simulated unison followed by 16 notes unison, repeated once. Should be able to hear the attack noise quite clearly https://vocaroo.com/1chiYR73HeDb
Otherwise, can you send me the patch?

E are the emulation unison modes. It's a light weight alternative for true unison that sounds reasonably good, but less clean. I'll make a manual soon to explain a bit more about the synth.

UPDATE
OSX (intel) AudioUnit is now available.
I could not test it on Big Sur yet, so please let me know how it works!

Just load it from the preset browser?e-crooner wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 6:39 pm I just saved a test patch, that worked, but how does one load a patch?!![]()
Make sure you save the patch in one of the Preset sub-folders and it should show up.

Ah ok, I had saved it outside a sub-folder, and it didn't show up in the browser
Regarding the browser, would be useful if the up and down arrow keys of the keyboard could be used for cycling through presets (previous, next), and the left and right arrow keys for switching to another sub-folder. Or the other way round.
And the Escape key for exiting the browser.
Yes, I admit it, I hate clicking

I wouldn’t mind a mac VST build. Bitwig doesn’t load au. But thanks anyway...e-phonic wrote: Tue Apr 27, 2021 6:00 pm UPDATE
