got it a day after it came out.
it's easily my most used saturator now.
it sounds great, but what's more - it's one of the fastest to dial in and get a good sound

Hi all,

Kelvin V1.5 is now available and it's a good one. This new version adds Parallel and Mid/Side modes (a very popular feature request), two new saturation models ("Hot Iron" transformer and "Vintage" tube preamp), filter routing, and more.

I bought this about ten days ago, pretty astounded how great it sounds. These saturator things don't usually do it in a mastering context for me (and I have a rack full of analogue goodies to compare them to), as they are too heavy handed, but this one just sounds right, and has numerous ways to "subtle-ise" the effect. Very impressed.

Curious to check out their comp now as well.

Don't demo the compressor unless you have some money in the bank
especially being a mastering engineer.

Yeah, it's the best software mastering compressor IMO. Kelvin is right up there with a couple others for best saturation plugin.

I'll probably just buy anything Tone Projects makes in the future.
