I really enjoyed that!
Kinda wish it was longer, but it works great also as it is!
Very placeable for TV/Movies
LOVED the parallel 4th movement there!

Thanks very much for having a listen...appreciated!

Yeah, it could be longer...that's a definite bit of feedback I'm getting here and I do have ideas sketched out for when I have time.

Very placeable... Pieces of this length are often very useful for putting before publishers...especially if they create a specific atmosphere / have a hook of some sort.

Longer pieces will get accepted all the time as well, but will often need to be edited a lot more for specific requirements.

This was actually written just for fun, but I'm going to put it to one of my UK publishers- hopefully next week.

Parallel 4ths - The original sketch version was pretty much all in 4ths, 5ths, octaves and unsion, in this style:

And then I got carried away and it developed into a sort of hybrid style! :)

Thank you for having a listen! Always pleased when someone uses the 'journey' word... I'm always trying to add a narrative thread to my music! :)

very dreamlike, could see it as part of a christmas ballet type thing, like when they do alice (i saw a live rendition of this, was fabulous, bit of an alice fan) or such. but obviously, for "the snow maiden" :)

not sure what else to say other than bravo
i fear my comment was lost

Yeah, 'SORRY' Vurt - you're right, I completely missed it!

Thanks for checking it out...I suppose it is very dreamlike now you mention it...might seriously think of throwing the word dream into a new title for it?

i won't ask for royalties if you do :hihi:

i think it's the belltower, unusual and gives it a fairytale/dreamy quality.
its "almost" ambient electronic sounding if that makes sense, wouldn't have been out of place in one of the early orb soundsystems 8)

That carillon sample library is seriously something - I agree 100%!

I know bells in general are a bit of a 'marmite' sound to some, but I love them for that resonant depth and frequency wash you get...yes, weirdly quite 'electronic' at times...know what you mean.

BELLS - wonderful things for sound design..some of my best evolving pads have come from bell field recordings...well I liked 'em anyway!

i love bells :D
it's one thing i do like about living near an old church, sundays, i get a nice peel or two throughout the day :)

think its a nostalgic thing probably, but the sound of real church bells or old clock towers even, as you say it's the resonances, and the depth as it rings out, lovely!

makes me want to hit something big and metal! :ud:
have to stick to pitching down temple bowls :hihi:
