yes, i love experimenting with it, often i will make my own samples using additive and fm synths and mix those samples with some field recordings and the results are often very interesting

Additive and fm plus field recordings, want to be run through a Tegeler Creme.
This is important.

Do you know Digitalis, its very digital (good) but when added in micro-doses it suddenly adds warmth.

A very good way to "glue the shit"
Love that.

Of course you don't NEED to pay for anything with software to make good music. If it is your job you will probably want to buy some stuff but for a hobby there is a TON of great stuff for free; you never have to spend a dime.

I have seen absolutely nothing in CLAP that interests me even slightly.

Nothing wrong about that.BONES wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 9:41 am I have seen absolutely nothing in CLAP that interests me even slightly.
To me the capacity to have polyphonic modulations from the DAW impacting the plugin is a game changer. It allows to have sound patches AND modulation patches. I love the idea.
Many won't give a s.... about it

To what end? Show us something that makes that a thing worth having.

I am not at all. Do what you want.
These capacities has been discussed at length in Bitwig and CLAP part of the forum...
First you need to understand (or have in interrest) in polyphonic modulations.
If you have, modulations can become very complex. Having to reprogram them each time can be a shore. Omnisphere for example allows to change presets without changing the modulation setup. That's very handy because you can circulate timbre and sounds without changing the dynamic of this same sound.
CLAP allows to do that on steroid. In particular, in my use case (and I insist, it is my use case and feel free to not give a shit about it), it allows to use the polyphonic modulations of Bitwig in any CLAP synths. Without CLAP, if you don't like the modulation options of your synth, you are f**ked, you can only change synth. With CLAP, if you are comfortable with the modulators of your DAW, you can apply them to any external synth, polyphonically...

Its the hidden king of digital textures, the rhythmic thing is just on top of that and for the humanoids who are still using drums. Digitalis is a Cookie Monster and will give you all that heavy crunch if needed, or just some subtle crispiness to warm up your Drones. Trust me brother, buy now.martiu wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 9:12 ami have their SketchCassette II plugin (i began using it often for my ambient recordings) but i dont have Digitalis, i always though Digitalis is more towards rhythmic genres that i dont do anymoreEl°HYM wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 9:09 am Do you know Digitalis, its very digital (good) but when mixed in in micro-doses it suddenly adds warmth.
