Any chance there will be more trimmers added to the Tweaks Page for things like per-voice Env timing, filter cutoff, and tuning variation? My biggest RePro wish has been to be able to give each area different levels of slop (new), then have the Detune knob on the front panel act as a global depth in poly-mode (like it currently does).

Or is the thinking, "we'll give you some more mod slots and you can use the voice index modulator for that?" The downside I could foresee with the latter is that you'd use up a lof of slots modulating envelope slop with one slot per knob across 8 potential knobs.

We haven't made any decisions there, yet. I'm thinking, one day we might obtain a vintage P5 Rev 2 and check it out, and then we'll see how much slop that one has, and then we can make an informed guess as to what the ranges of such a thing could realistically be.

I may be a bit pedantic that way, but authenticity is something that really means a lot to me. And if others (including Sequential in their Rev 4) go crazy with exaggerated slop, I don't think I just want to jump on the train just because they do. I'd much rather preserve the inherent realism and instead give users means to bend things beyond that, and if that means that it's through the ModMatrix, then that is what it's gonna be. But before we jump to conclusions, let's see where we go, once we find the time to look into it.

I respect that viewpoint. It's a slippery slope with software. Everyone craps on Softube emulations because they don't add more voices and are too true to the originals (in regards to voices). You guys did add more voices with RePro-5. You added velocity before the Rev 4 had it. You have the Tweaks panel in the first place and the per voice distortion mod and panners. Those are arguments in favor of having expanded slop settings. Though I think the best argument is quite simply: it just sounds cool when each voice sounds clearly distinct. So why not offer that option? :)

But I understand the view of, 'we have to draw the line somewhere and have already given you guys mod slots and are already adding more.' I won't lose any sleep if it's never added and I just have to use mod slots carefully when I want more than RePro-5 in it's stock form offers.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the subject!

In Filterscape, why are the filters not displayed in the gui? Am I doing something wrong or is this an option you still haven't added? I'd really like to be able to see them.

You mean, a visualisation of the filter curve?

Yes, as there is for the EQ curves. If there isn't enough space in the gui at least having the option to display the filters from the filter section instead of the EQ would be helpful. Especially when we're only using the filter section filters.
