  • Now supports 36 GUI keys instead of only 12.
  • Supports multiple MIDI keys on a single GUI key thus directly supports chords.
Will it be possible to save each 36-chord map as a separate preset?
If so, this would be useful for playing with progressions in a scale.
Being able to Transpose in addition to Octave Shift is also useful.

Your Mux needs to have at least one Rack in the modular area, then when you select 'Add Component' - 'Rack Desk' in the front panel editor, and point it to one of the racks, it will place the Rack Desk on your front panel. CORRECTION: if no racks exist just point to an empty area in the modular area. (Strange, but I think this did not work when I first tried it)
There is also an option for 'Drum Note Processor & Rack Desk' for if you also have a Drum Note Processor in your mux. This uses all racks contained in your mux.

Thanks so much!

MuLab App M9.5.14 beta for Windows 64 bit is available on https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • Virtual MIDI Keyboard now has Open Preset + Save As Preset buttons.
  • Refined startup project dialog now integrated into startup splash.
Curious for your feedback on the new startup dialog:

More refined, beautiful, and still very practical. :tu:

Not a fan, sorry. For ease of use and ergonomics, it would be better if the splash was left and buttons, as they were, on right.

It's not cos it's changed that I mind, more that the buttons are spread all over the place. I had a similar discussion about SyMenu. Horizontal views are not as efficient as vertical views wrt reading lists such as this. Which is why I hate file browsers list views.

Personally I liked the original window but do think it would be better integrating the splash and startup window. Maybe a border round the splash?

I do agree with sl23. From a UX perspective, the eyes need to move back and forth to find the a button. I do not see anything wrong with the original start up window.

So much effort on gui-thingis ... I can get used with everything.
What I really miss badly is
1) a tempo-track to control tempo-changes with curves just like any parameter.
2) the possibility to see other track's content while editing one.
(I know, I can open multiple tracks/parts in seperate windows. But they are never synchronized when changing zoom.)

Gui is the first thing new users judge software by. If it's difficult or awkward to use, it gets dropped. So it is just as important as other aspects, but I do see your point.

I agree with number 2. Even though it's related to gui! Lol

I like the new Startup screen. Much better :tu:
