According to allmighty KVR it's sometimes 14:39h...
Even when I log in, and my profile is correct, it's two hours early...so what.

Time to make some music!

As you might imagine, the tea develops a distinctive smoky flavor. Give it a try when you want a change of pace. Great with apples and aged cheese.)

If that don't cut it, you can always add a spliff (careful choosing the right brand and blend here too) and/or light some insense (i got 30 different scents to shift the mood). Also 60%vol Stroh Rum (added to the tea) or a shot of Jägermeister will do tricks.

Red wine and beer are also nice, ofcourse, but I really recommend going out and buying some different kind of teas and trying them out..

Alltogether I think it is very important to set the mood right at the workingspace using all means possible. Lighting, scents, temperature, tastes, colors.. all add or substract something to or from your overall sensitivity and vibe.

This might sound hippyish to some, but I know It works for whatever genre you are producing music for... we're still all humans with emotions...
Yeah Tea works well in the evening! i will go and buy some more tea some day, there is a nice little shop just close to me in the park that sells all different kinds of teas... i love chai tea :D

a little glass of portwine is also nice sometimes... it gets me in a good mood, but not too much...

anyway

i really like your idea about setting the right mood in the environment you produce in.. it inspired me to light a candle,

Soon i will rearrange furniture in my room and have this in consideration....the mood factor ;)

i need to go and get a poster i left for framing, it contains all different colors, its very inspiring! almost like someone had thrown all sorts of colors on it... but in a mindful manner...and still not.. its very hmm spontaneous, thats the word...

thanks for the inspiration =)

Lapsang Souchong is hands down the BEST TEA EVER. I cannot get enough of that stuff. Also is good with some heavy Bavarian style whipping cream.

As for alcohol, Negroni is the way to go. Salvador Dalí's drink of choice. Equal parts Campari and Gin with a 2/3 portion of Vermouth.

And when it comes to that whole pouring absinth over sugar business, for some reason I now always think of Prof. Lodz...
