johnnyberrygoode wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 5:33 pm While there is time to fix something before the release, I'm trying to look for minor flaws in the visual interface. In the fmo module, the lines are slightly shifted to the right. Displayed on the picture.
Some knobs on other modules have the same flaw. Otherwise, I really like the UI.
I guess we missed that during night shifts... should be an easy fix!
I think I found everything.

Congrats on releasing the new version.

I'm in a race against time to have enough money for this. Whats the earliest possible date that we could lose access to the special beta-phase pricing? Thanks.

Urs will of course answer you, but my guess is the answer is in the first post:
....
What else is new?

the final release is nearly imminent it may happen as soon as next week, if nothing serious happens...

On another note, any chance for MTS OddSound micro tuning support?
Already has it and I found today that it also works with MTS-ESP continuous tuning, which was thrilling to discover.
Wow, so it does thanks!!

I like to share a preset I made with the community, I think it really shows off the sonic quality of Zebra 3. It get's a live when played, velocity sensitive!

Thanks. I did see that. I still had to ask anyway because its my birthday on Thursday of that week and I need to know whether I will still need to engineer things in order not to possibly miss out by a matter of days.

Yes, hopefully Urs or Tas will see your post and give you the definitive answer..
But they are a great bunch of people, maybe email them and ask them and mention that it is your birthday :)

Unreal..

I was super happy with the UI speed improvement in the last version. With the new beta, it seems slower than ever in my Bitwig installation.

Unfortunately, I seem to be in the minority, but I really don’t like the new GUI… or rather, the previous one was fantastic, almost too good to be true. I understand some of the design choices, but in my opinion, a big opportunity was missed.

Such a flat interface might have made more sense if we had at least gained real-time modulation visualization like the competitors (not essential, I agree), but without that, I find it hard to justify.

It’s also disappointing that Zebrelette will likely receive the same treatment: what a shame!
This is just my opinion… it still sounds absolutely wonderful.

I removed the gradients behind the menus.
I made all the menus a color so they stand out from all the label text.
That looks much better, I'm not a fan of the new gradients / text contrast.

Same feeling here, I'm sure that they can find a good middle ground.
The modules are all looking pretty similar now compared to the last beta, I find myself getting lost in the UI (the main part anyway). The text is definitely harder to read for me.

This is my "desert island" software synth. No disrespect to other wonderful music brands(what is left of them), but Zebra3 is the synth I would want if I lost access to all my others. Ive spent the last couple months thinking about this, and I am certain of it now.
