when you use the in-track editing you can resize each track and you can zoom each track individually - unlike with Tracktion this functionality is also there for audio tracks and unlike Tracktion eXT always remembers the individual state for each respective track...

yes, I know it's already impressive but there's more:

eXT has pattern based sequencing and you can mix pattern based sequencing
with linear sequencing and you can combine both in any way you like and soon you will be able to trigger the patterns by midi (and soon means soon but I think I already said that )

- it has support for odd time-signatures

- it has several project-management functions like:

- it can cleasn unused samples

Easily achieved with Tracktion's object oriented audio clips, and auto-tempo feature..

- fantastic built-in sampler

Tracktion's sampler rocks, I use it all the time. No subsitute for Kontact of course, but it's not meant to be..
