3. If you answer yes to question 2, please list them here. Yamaha 01X, MAudio Trigger Finger, Original Oxygen 8

4. Do you have any other comments you wish to share on this subject? Control Surface use should be a "no brainer", easy to setup use and just work. :)

1.- No
2.- Yes.
3.- BCR2000 x 2 + 01v to control Cubase 4
4.- MCU, the extenders and C4 are too f**king expensive for what they do. It's unconceivable you'd need to pay as much as triple than what your sequencer costs, just to be able to control that sequencer. Even though I could buy said control surfaces, I won't because the price is riculously unfair compared to the kind and caliber of high tech you can get for the same amount of money, being that a computer, NI Komplete, a hardware keyboard.

Roland PC-200mkII thru Midisport2x2 USB and Akai MDP-16
Looking at whatever I can use that will save me time and work across platforms/hosts.
My ancient roland has aftertouch and I'd thought by now that would be a standard feature on all keyboard controllers.
I can buy an iControl for Garage Band for @$150 but if it worked for Logic they would charge $3K.

[quote="Beno"]Hey all,
As you all know, T2 added direct support for MCU and C4 control surfaces. Many of you have asked for more support of 3rd party surfaces. I just want to get a feel about how important supporting 3rd party controllers is to you. So please answer this poll AND respond to the thread. Some ground rules. Please format your reply by only answering the following easy questions:

1. Do you own T2? Yes or No
Yes

2. Do you own a Control Surface (Mackie Brand or 3rd Party)? Yes or No
Yes

3. If you answer yes to question 2, please list them here.
Frontier AlphaTrack, E-Mu X-Board

4. Do you have any other comments you wish to share on this subject?
PLease improve the possibilties for Control Surfaces, it's so much easier.

Please, only reply to the thread ONCE. We want to keep it manageable for the sake of being able to use the data. If you want to discuss replies, start a new thread. I will delete any posts that are not formatted correctly to keep things neat and tidy.

Disclaimer, the results of this thread will definitely be used but please don't assume that because the results point a certain direction, that the next release of Tracktion will necessarily reflect that. This is simply a way to let you guys tell us what you think.

Thanks for your help and if this goes well, expect more like it in the future.
