I understand that for some, a flashier GUI is distracting.
I quite like it though, with Hive being my favourite GUI so far. Very inviting and excellently laid-out with a workflow as good or perhaps even better than Bazille's.
I suppose it will vary from person to person depending on an infinite number of subjective factors.
Maybe down the line they can release a stripped-down GUI to choose from for people who prefer working with that.

Better is wide term, especially in world of UI. Finished UI is usually better than unfinished.firepile wrote: I disagree. The final Bazille GUI is way better than the old beta.
But my note is only on readability/focus/distraction which is one of the comparison criterias.
Murderous duck!

Dont think so. At least it wasnt mentioned so far. I would be suprised if they wasted ressources for such (how to say it nicely) exotic things.goleat wrote:Granular synthesis in zebra3?

Granular synthesis in Zebra 3 seconded!
Not that Granulator does not do the job very nicely, but a u-he take on this imbedded within Zebra 3 could be quite something.
Granular synthesis can produce extremely beautiful/strange tones you could not possible achieve with other routes of synthesis. It's not all glitchy noise.

I would like a skin like this:
to zebra3 an exclusive panel for oscillators and minimatrix on the front panel

Wow, thanks for this! I'm seriously thinking of purchasing, Zebra2 default GUI is one of the few "let downs" of the synth for me, pity Unempty Dark is not fully up to date for all of 2.7 features (including undogoleat wrote:I would like a skin like this:

The author of Pokemod says the theme is not fully tested on Windows, has anybody tried it?
Thanks again,
Mario

I might have to buy that soundset just to get my hands on that skin, it looks really cool. The soundset seems pretty nice apart from being so freaking LOUD in the demo player.

the arrangement of elements is not the same.

Yes, not only is the module arrangement better, you also get new functions which aren't in the standard skin.
The pokemod is nice, but it does not make sense for me to use more than one skin now that I work with Redux.
