No, I think we're clearly done here. To me, this new member is a bit unstable, I suspect deliberately obtuse and way too aggressive to hold down an adult conversation with.

Yeah, no offense, but I have the same opinion about you. It takes two to tango.Aliens wrote:No, I think we're clearly done here. To me, this new member is a bit unstable, I suspect deliberately obtuse and way too aggressive to hold down an adult conversation with.

So, Repro, I have to say I wish Messiah hadn't been taken, that was the perfect Prophet VST name IMO. I was holding out for a 64 bit update just for that name almost

Wanted to see what it's pads are like. Here's a short sample:
Red Planet Blues
Factory presets with no tweaking. No external effects or EQ. Studio One's stock limiter for loudness.
PAD TUC Choir Strings
PAD HS Little Blue Planet
PAD TUC Drone One
LEAD TUC Glass Pling
CHORD HS Space Morning (Gong)
what a quiality
sounds like hardware
who thought that will be softsynth.

That would be nice, I like the arp in it, I also had a little chat with him recently about it, but he was pretty mum about its future. I hope it shows it's head, it would be nice to have a lower resource but quality option for people, plus his prices are super low. Not everyone will be able to afford Repro, hardware wise especially.Greggers wrote:Messiah is not finished, I had a chat with Gunnare a few months ago and he said he has plans for it.

Developers don't disclose the details for obvious reasons, neither he did disclose them to me, but he definitely mentioned the word "update" in regards to Messiah during our conversation.

While re-programmmng the "Electric Piano" Prophet 5 factory preset in Repro-5 and comparing to the preset in Arturia Prophet V3 i found that the patch in Prophet V3 sounds quite bad in comparison. This is due to using Osc B FM (crossmodulation) in this patch at maximum amount. While in Repro-5 it sounds nice in Prophet V3 it sounds distorted and strange.
While at more "standard" sounds Prophet V3 could come close at more extreme settings like audio rate modulations or high resonance Repro-5 is much better.
Problems with audio rate modulatioons and high filter resonance seems to be a quite common problem with older analog emulations.
Besides that also the PWM in Repro-5 (e.g. in Synt hStrings patches) seems to souud better than in Prophet V3.
After having used Prophet v3 for around 11 years at least the included Prophet 5 will be replaced by Repro-5 for me. Prophet V3 still includes the Prophet VS and the hybrid synth that are very nice on their own and i will continue using them.

I think this thread is doomed. I will go to the office today for a proper computer with a large screen and a mouse and I will spend some time learning how to seperate posts from one thread into another.
I'll also report those who call others "trolls" or "idiots" or "clowns" to the main moderators as these people clearly haven't figured it out. I don't need people who throw name calling and ad hominems to to interact with me and others in a beta testing thread.
Thank you for ruining my Sunday.

Don't know yet, but it feels enticing to start a new thread once the people I mentioned before have left KVR.Chris-S wrote:Is a second beta planned before final release?

I am amazed at how good the Repro 1 and 5 sounds + Diva offcourse
And they Really live up to the hype
When i play them next to my highend Analogs i sometimes forget that i play a vst since they sound so good and real like my hw does

It's a bit more than that. There's material for a whole conspiracy theory unfolding here... hope to have the details soon.D-Fusion wrote:Don't let them get under your skin Urs.

While i do not have all U-He synths yet i currently got Repro-5, Repro-1, Diva and ACE and all those are amazing indeed while i guess both Repro-5 and Diva are my favorites from those.D-Fusion wrote: I am amazed at how good the Repro 1 and 5 sounds + Diva offcourse
