Not meaning to sound negative or so, but could it be that Oatmeals envelopes aren't exactly snappy? I tried to get some "zap-ish" sounds by setting up a shortly decaying envelope for the filter and it didn't sound as "zap-ish" as I hoped it would be.
I know, there's quite some parameters interacting, but I tried quite a lot of settings without success.

Has anybody done any such a patch with success and would share the preset so I could have a look at it?

I know, these things might perhaps not be Oatmeals strength, but I'd just like to try out of interest anyways.

Krim, when did you change your opinion of Oatmeal? What inspired the reassessment?
(I must have overlooked it in the previous pages or something... but now that you have that Oatmeal page on your website, I figure you must being rating it a bit higher than you did originally... Don't worry, I'm just curious; I'm not looking to razz you on the matter or anything... )

TBH, im tired of a near 60 page thread with ppl moaning 'where is this and that' so i made a crap page that can be downloaded, HTML changed to suit, and uploaded by whoever made the synth. Its not permanant, and it took me 5 mins, so i dont know why it hasnt been done already. Just proving a point i guess.

I havent changed my opinion at all on thew synth.

This kind of "bad" behaviour can of course be tolerated, encouraged even.

I think it's OK, as it goes.
It sounds a bit thin sometimes, then others it can create some quite nice sounds.

I've got better synths, I've got worse synths. But few seem to be kicking up this much of a storm.
I guess the dev has Krim to thank for that - at least in part.

I cannot understand why people keep on moaning about something they got as present. Fuzzpilz has developed a fantastic, most versatile synth. I thank him for I can use it and it makes fun to hear the fantastic sound of it. I don't miss anything on oatmeal, except guest toilets and big bank account. I have great respect of your work, Fuzzpilz and don't worry about some shit that's posted here!
