I posted the BFD2 deal for a $10 kit on the Bargains thread. A few people have asked me how to get the deal. All I can tell you is that I got an email directly from FXpansion with a link. I also thought that all registered users would be getting the same email.
I'm in the US if that matters. Maybe limited by country? In any event, if you're a registered user and can't find the deal, shoot support a ticket and see what happens.
Cheers

I too had the same email, and I'm in Italy, so you being in the USA doesn't matter

Norway here, and no email. If anyone has info on this, I'd be very grateful. Tams played with mallets is a huge whole in my percussive collection.Project wrote:I too had the same email, and I'm in Italy, so you being in the USA doesn't matter

Fxpansion's response:
"This offer was a special promotion for users who don't have any expansion packs yet. We'll be doing future promotions so please watch this space."
Oh well.

Ok, I have no expansion pack yet, so this may explain why I got the email

OK, well that explains it for me. I generally won't buy expansion packs for any full software I buy, unless they are very deeply discounted.Nanakai wrote:Fxpansion's response:

Interesting marketing strategy. Hopefully they'll also reward all of those REALLY loyal customers that bought a bunch of packs.

Good point - spam folders are getting somewhat unpredictable of late - both gmail and hotmail are letting spam through and blocking emails from senders that previously had no problems.

Done it, I always do that when something is missing, so it was my first thought. Thanks for the tip tho'BERFAB wrote:Check your spam folder, perhaps?

I bought ECO for $29 but haven't had much of a chance to mess with it or anything musical due to keeping a roof over our heads! Does the standard version of ECO have drums played by brushes? Because if it doesn't and I read that this one does then it would be worth it to me to buy this cheap upgrade. Does anyone know? Thanks!BERFAB wrote:I posted the BFD2 deal for a $10 kit on the Bargains thread. A few people have asked me how to get the deal. Found the answer from their site;
"Are there any brushes, mallets, hotrods etc. in BFD Eco? [top]
No, the included kit-pieces are played by sticks only. Several expansion packs are available which include brush, mallet and hotrod sounds."

Although it's great to see the No Brainers back I think people were asking for new deals not just the older "sold out" deals to be reopened......

I don't think I missed any that I didn't want to miss.......It's good that people get a second chance on this one. I went for it the first time and haven't regretted it one bit. I would just like some new brain food.....
