Just curious, will the final release ship before Sept. 30th? The summer sale looks good, but I don't want to give money towards a beta, in the chance that the final version is incompatible with my machine.

Brian
The final release is already ready, we just wait for the final website to post it on
Moreover, there shouldn't be any compatibility differences between 1.0.9 and 1.0.10 as changes are really minor, it's even more compatible as we fixed issue with bogus host like logic which have a limitation regarding plugin saving information size in song.(happened only with really big performance size)
If you already checked with 1.0.9 and it runs smoothly on your computer, then don't be afraid of changes brought by the future 1.0.10.
If you never tried the 1.0.9 then give it a try to see if you don't encounter any issue.(please let us know if you have issues)
Thanks,

55 pages.
Not really interested in reading all those.
Can anyone fill me in, cause I've just got an email where I can get X-treme FX/Synth anthology etc. for $69 each. Wasn't that like $500-ish originally, then fell to about $200. $69 just seems extremely cheap.
So the latest version of UVI workstation is in good shape? This just seems a too good bargain to pass up on. So what's the catch?

Wow.. I just recently discovered this... and what a great plugin it is. In my view, it blows Stylus RMX straight out of the water, if only because it doesn't have that gnawing MIDI bug in Cubase. I find the internal effects to be not that great, but I prefer using VST plugins anyway.
I am having a hoot running my extensive REX-file library through it. Will it remain to be free when used stand-alone?

What's the gnawing MIDI bug in Cubase ? I don't remember seeing such report.
It will remain free even after the public beta.(StandAlone and all plugin format, absolutely no restriction)
Thanks for your report.

Hi,
just downloaded this and it crashes ableton live 7 after installing, when scanning. Now Live won't even scan it. Is it a known issue?
Thanks.
Edit: i'm on a pc, amd turion processor, vista. Not even the standalone works.

It's not a know issue. As far as I knew, it runs smoothly in Live 7.
Live usually disable plugin that have crashed that's why it won't scan it again until you reselect your plugin folder so it resets everything.
There is maybe a faster way to do this, but you'd better ask Abelton how to do this.
Few questions:
Are you running a 64bits version of Vista ?
If it's the case, what happens if you install
PACE drivers for 64bits
http://www.paceap.com/download.html
If you run the StandAlone version, it doesn't show up or have you some kind of crash report ?
Is your PC connected to the Internet ? (obviously it is if you post from it, but just wanted to be sure)
Thanks for the report.

Hey Oliver, thanks for the reply.
I've reselected the plugin folder, same result.
It's a normal 32 bit vista.
Running the standalone i imediatly get a box saying UVi Workstation has stopped working, then it closes and that's it.
I am conected to the net via wireless. I have installed both the standalone and the plugin in the same folder, inside my vst folder. Could that have anything to do?

Installing in the same folder shouldn't be an issue.djgroovy wrote:Hey Oliver, thanks for the reply.

I'm a bit puzzled as a lot of people are running it on Vista without any problem.
Could you try to reinstall the PACE drivers at the following URL ?

Have you rebooted since installing the plugin ?
Thanks,

Renoise 1.9.0 on PC cannot play UVI WorkStation. It starts, patches are loaded good but no sound. Checked the version of UVIWS, and updated. So never mind this late bug report

something i never noticed before - here with .10 - loops in stretch with sync off don't seem to be reacting to the tempo adjustment correctly. its backwards. high tempos play slower and slower tempos play faster...heh

In the meantime, we have posted a 1.0.10 but I don't think it will fix your issue.
So far I don't have much ideas...
I'll get back to you if I come up with something.
Thanks for the report.
