No problem... I bought the Power Suite for half-price years back in a Logic Users group-buy.Photo_G wrote:Thanks! I ordered the plug and downloaded the demo. I'll post back about whether I am able to authorize the VST version <fingers crossed>. I definitely like some of the presets...and, as described, it is pretty light on the CPU (S1v3 Pro), even with all of the modules enabled - especially so with real-time analysis disabled.antithesist wrote:OK, regarding Wave Arts: with this $10 Track Plug AAX deal, you should get an ilok redeem code.
WA has ilok and their old serial system now... you can choose (or I think even do both), but you must use ilok for AAX.

I've used Track Plug a lot.

When using Windows 7 64bit to extract this download, I get a "file type not recognized or file corrupt" error. I've downloaded twice. Anyone have a workaround?
Thanks,
Ed.

IIRC, Windows can't unpack zip files larger that 4GB. OS X doesn't have this limitation so it's possible the archive was made there and they didn't realise this would be an issue.EdSevered wrote:When using Windows 7 64bit to extract this download, I get a "file type not recognized or file corrupt" error. From a quick search it seems versions of Winzip from 9 upwards support "zip64" which allows for larger archives. So maybe try another (un)archiver.

Edit: Clue, extract the zip with Universal Extractor: http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=641

Did you see the post above, when the file is over 4GB in size it screws up, this is also stated on the Winzip page.VitaminD wrote:Why not?Numanoid wrote:Yeah, but it aint gonna work on this download, not WinRar either. You can try and download and try opening with 7zip, but I'm afraid you'll get error messages.

Thanks everyone for the info. I had a feeling I was going to need a 3rd party archive/extraction tool, I just didn't know why or which one, and I really didn't want to go at it hit-or-miss until found one that worked.

Yes I saw. I did not see, however, that he was having issues with 7zip, but instead winzip. The two don't seem to be interrelated.Numanoid wrote:Did you see the post above, when the file is over 4GB in size it screws up, this is also stated on the Winzip page.VitaminD wrote:Why not?Numanoid wrote:Yeah, but it aint gonna work on this download, not WinRar either. Do you have experience with 7zip and large files? Its too bad if it doesn't work on giant files!
