In fact each section/module in Lush-101 could have an 'Advanced' button which would open that section to reveal more options. In the oscillator section it would be more waves, in the LFO section it would be LFO delay and fade, in the envelope section a 'Loop' option (see Synth Sqaud)...etc, etc.

Exactly. Synths like Lush really make such layered patches so easy to create. It is a much better approach to experiment with than having five instances of a synth (or synths) open in a host, which may need additional arpeggiators. Another benefit specific to how Lush handles modulation is that it is so fast. There is no need to access the mod matrix for stuff like setting up PWM, gentle LFO vibrato..etc. It's all right there built into each module. On a multi-layer synth like this, it makes all the difference as it is fast to whiz through a layer as the inspiration strikes.then use the 5th layer as a monophonic arp that just picks out certain notes of the chord rhythmically
