My guess is they sold out of the old Vintage Vault, and maybe when it comes back in stock in late November it'll have another product included or something.

I'm sure they were just getting rid of the old version to make room for the new one.

Regardless, sent over a grumpy email, see what happens.

Hmmm.... if it's discontinued then why are they still accepting backorders, but this time at a price of $499? PS: i have emailed UVI asking for confirmation that Vintage Vault has been discontinued.

Who was that third party seller that sold those no good SampleLogic licenses ?

Searching for Fanfare in this thread brings up the culprit in that case also as Musicians Friend/Guitar Center

Buy SampleTank 3 SE at IK and pay $100

Buy iRig 25 for $60 and get SampleTank 3 SE included in the deal

Am I reading something wrong there?

Ah, but both MF and SL made good on this fiasco.
MF immediately, and SL eventually.
And IMO, much of that came from this thread blowing up over it.

I eventually got both products from SLogic... and MFriend gave me a free license to Geist for my trouble on their end. All in all, it eventually came out as a great deal for some.
I hold no animosity towards either.
(But I do feel SLogic still needs to make their prices more in line with the rest of market).

add/edit: Perhaps this is the case for UVI also? Especially since they have to constantly discount or give it away anyway. I know their value would greatly increase with me the moment the simply kick PACE to the curb.

The bundled Sampletank SE version is not eligible for the current group buy.

It's the same with Korg legacy collection and Microkey 61 and others. Actually a lot of hardware have bundled software worth more than their price.

MF did ship my UVI Vintage Vault and keyboard. UPS sent email this morning saying it will be delivered tomorrow. Though the full tracking number says it shouldn't be delivered till Thursday but was rescheduled for early delivery. Usually when that happens they send email tomorrow saying they were wrong and it will just be delivered on time a day later. I figure 50/50 chance I'll get it tomorrow. So at least one person got the $99 deal. But I ordered very early when I saw the deal.

But, the iRig Keys 25 comes with "The Grid plus 5 collections from Beats and Elektronika series (choose and download from IK User Area)". Sounds like just as good of a deal to me, but for less . . . .

Several weeks ago Musicians Friend had it for 50 USD.. that is how I got into the group buy deal.

Maybe they'll have that price again?

It is a shame, too, because I don't really need another midi controller. However, the price difference between that and buying ST3 SE outright makes it stupid not to.
