V2 looked much better and closer to the original, despite its tiny size.

The general greyish colour, the colour and design of the buttons, the colours and width around the names of the different parts (LFO, VCO Modulator, VCO-1 etc.). And of course the display. Somehow, the whole design seems a bit unfinished.

Otherwise I'm satisfied with my upgrade so far, apart from the blurry gui on the Solina, drawbars on the Vox where the numbers are not readable, and of course the lacking Prophet/VS patch "division".

Kevin, this isn't V5 related but as you check this thread... in the GM mapping in Spark 2 the kick drum is mapped to CC #35 instead of #36 . I think this bug might only be on the Mac version, but that's what I use. So if I hit the usual kick pad on my controller there is no sound until I remap the pad in Spark.

I have only 3 updates (Analog Lab 2, Arp2600 v3, SEM v2). I've just read the bugfixes for ARP2600 V:

No more audio peaks when switching presets
•GPU handling improved - No more black screens when OpenGL 2.0 is not compatible
•No more preset loss that would show an empty preset browser when launching the plugin

:hail:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Funny, I haven't used the original, but I think the current UI is one of the nicest in the pack. It's simple, has the least wasted space, and is very clear to read. It's possible I'd like the older one even more, but honestly, I wish the other UI's were as functional as the Jupiter.

FYI Kevin/Arturia,

Some installers are not recalling the VST directory locations, and others are. For instance, the Vox Continental, CS-80, Matrix-12, Solina, and Synclavier definitely did not. I'm pretty sure the Farfisa didn't either.

Also, I fully agree that an Update All option is needed. Ideally, if updating, the installer would know all elements that were previously installed, where, and just update everything at once to those locations with no additional user interaction at all (other than clicking Update Now).

I like the newest the best. Besides it is bigger and therefor finally readable.

Some installers are not recalling the VST directory locations,
hmm - they all did for me. They recalled the choice of what to install (ie just 64 bit VST2 and VST3) and the location for the VST2 install.

Everything in the V Collection 4 Update installers did...

Hmm, that's weird, the modification we did was on all the installer. Just an idea coming out of my mind, did you launch all the installers at the same time or one after the one.

One after the other...though, the first time I installed the set, I was using the global demo installer for some of the plugins. This is the same installer that didn't prompt me for locations.

Then I later went back in and used the Update Center to get the rest. My guess at this point is that the locations from the global demo installer found on the site were not retained. This would explain why the instruments I was most interested in, are the ones that weren't retained.

Nice, have not tested it yet but the previous operation was a bit crazy ;) It was more a "slide" than a "click" switch.
Btw. I like this new GUI of the Jupiter 8 a lot. It's the first time this synth is for me usable and I use it now also a lot more than Diva.

Does anyone have a problem with Analog Lab 2 (the latest update)?

I loaded Arp2600 and SEM, the latest, and then loaded Analog Lab in Bitwig. While browsing the presets, it began suddenly to be not responsive and in the task manager the memory usage is about 1300 mb!! (Bitwig + Arp2600 + SEM memory usage is about 300 mb only!).

I will test that with Reaper and Studio One, then report here.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
