Think I will get it too. This is one of the best manuals I have seen from Zero-G. Not calling sounds Texture 1 - 200.

Each patch is given a name to identify what it sounds like and description of each folder. That is very usable when there are over 1000 Kontakt patches included :tu:

Another good thing is that Wav and AIFF files can be downloaded separatly, so in my case I only need to downlod the WAV files, and save 4GB download of AIFF files I will not be using.

Just took advantage of the Halloween20 code at BestService which brings any Toontrack EZKeys Sound Expansion, such as that sweet new Small Upright, down to €32,77 (plus vat for the unlucky).

Plus, as mentioned by the others it really isn't expensive. I have a 500 GB and all my East West and Kontakt stuff loads up (to be completely vague and unspecific) WAAAAY faster. It's truly a godsend, though I have heard internals are even faster.
If I get one, it'll probably be a 512GB, as well. The 1TB drives are good values but I think I'd just upgrade my computer before spending that much money.

Good tip. Just bought two EZX's for 38 euro incl VAT, works out at about £13.50 each. Thx Fleer! :)
(code is all lower case btw). Ends today.

Can you all stop call us "unlucky"? Somehow i feel depressed now.. :D
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Did this as well. And with no VAT even lower.

Do the same thing with the EZ-mix bundle. 91,60€ (ex vat) for EZmix2 and 6 mix-packs :-O. Sell the EZmix2 for maybe $40 in Marketplace and then this is a pretty good deal ;-).

Well I'm out then. Not into dark so much. I wish there was more "Light Skies" out there, where the pads give you a sense of euphoria and bliss. Guess there is more use for the darkness in commercial music though.

I see the 512GB at amazon for $199 and the 1TB is $429 - so isn't the 512 the better value per GB? Thanks for letting me know these things exist. Going to be an eventual upgrade for sure!

In my own experience, if you need 1TB worth of hard drive, it's best to either get a computer with a larger capacity (and perhaps a hybrid SSD setup), or just buy two 500s and split your samplers betwixt. 1 TB external hard drive was more trouble than it was worth to me, my computer seized up on it a couple of times. But that's just my computer, which is a recent Dell Inspiron 16 GB Ram, i7 with an onboard hybrid SSD drive.

I have over 350 GB memory left on my 1 TB computer, and about 75 out of 500 GB on my external hard drive. I have about eight EW libraries, all the Albions except II, Zero G samples, etc. Everything works great. Sometimes there's a longer wait for loading than others, but it's usually when I'm really pushing it. It's still always best to shut down IE, any relatively superfluous programs when dealing with the high powered libraries, unless you have a Deadmaus supa dupa computer from Hell.
Ha ha suck it!
