I think it is quite usefull to add.muzycian wrote:Indeed, the composer has no snapping options yet.SonicBreeze wrote:One question, I see Alt+click and Ctrl+Click drag on the notes or parts has same results. It copies the part and drag it to the new location. why not add different functions. For example temporarily switch off 'snap'.
BTW I am not finding a way to switch off "Snapping". How to toggle 'snap' on and off?
I see in Piano Roll there is 'Select Grid' and 'No Grid' will free it from snapping but I dont find it in main project window.

If the scan encounters a crashed plugin and says "Plug X seems to cause a problem, will be ignored", it does ignore the plugin during that scan.
But if the very next plug Y also causes a crash, then the database was not yet updated regarding plug X, and thus the next scan then says "Plug Y seems to cause a problem, will be ignored", but will crash again at plug X as that one is scanned again
If two problematic plugs were separated by a good one, then the database was updated in time.
Beta 7 takes proper care of the "exceptional" situation of 2 crashing plugs just after each other.
sorry, Jo, but this explanation can't be the reason in my case...
as I deleted several offending plugins one after the other I could watch the scanning process in the scan-log going further an further - and those plugins weren 't one next to the other...

hey, I put all the Grand vst's files in the correct place. Cubase can load the grand, i do not get the star icon in Luna now, however, all the slots in the mixer window dissapear and Luna will not function thereafter. i think it may be a bug.

Llukax, i think your graphic files may be mixed up.
So please start from a fresh install of Luna (ie. unzip again to a new folder) and try again.
Does that make a difference?

Jens, are you willing to run some special test-version?jens wrote:muzycian wrote: I've found a possible reason.

It will write a log file (Log.txt) within your Luna folder.
Then you send me that log file, so that i can search for what's going wrong.
Note that it might take several steps (test-versions) to narrow the problem down.
If ok, please pm/email me your email address then i'll sent you the link to the first test.
Cheers,
Jo

Is it different from saving sessions as templates?

Wait, yes, a fresh install does make it work... hmm maybe theirs something wrong with my skin?Llukax, i think your graphic files may be mixed up.
So please start from a fresh install of Luna (ie. unzip again to a new folder) and try again.
Does that make a difference?
(Edit) hmm, very strange, if my skin is copied over the original BEFORE Luna is opened for the first time, the grand works again but with the new skin :/ , however on second launch the grand does not work again. this also happens with the LooxTweak skin and the original defualt skin. I even did a fresh unzip and isolated the grand as the only plugin added and still on second launch the grand messes up luna. Hope this helps!
