DuX wrote::sad: oh, ok. I thought it was possible in some normal way. Usually, if one needs to apply more than 8-10db of EQ, that means one's better off changing the sound than EQ-uing it :D. To me, even +-6db is somewhat extreme, but sometimes I use it, mostly for "creative" purposes.
We will keep that in mind. The next release should have the possibility to change the range.

Thanks Christian! I think you're making the best VST tracking EQ there is. Posihfopit is great, too. I cannot say enough good things about your EQ's :D. You pinpointed the features that one needs when having like 10 such EQs in a mix so strikingly well. It's not just the sound, it's its immediate usability, too. There's nothing like it.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot. In times of SynthEdit & Co it's very easy to create plugins, but it's still hard to make good plugins, with good usability. Anyway, there are still so much things that needs to be adressed.
On the other another problem raises up. If so many modes are available, it's getting harder not to overload everything. The user might be spoilt for choice. So one of the next steps might be to improve the manual even further, provide some sound examples and make the GUI configurable...

If only the day would have more than 24 hours...

P.S.: 2 new modes (+ economy) are nearly done, ultra tight stuff is on its way (and most probably a raise of the price)

Just a question : Is it planned to make a input/output volume ?
Most of the Eq i use now do not have such a featuren, except Spinaudio Spineq, and i find this very useful to avoid output distortion (not much when "adding" frequencies, but mostly when removing so me very low basses, it can increase the volume a lot...).

It seems like adding a "Gain" EQ node allows you to set the output gain as if there was an output knob. I did this last night and it seemed to work that way for me anyway. Real good for A/Bing varios settings or normalizing presets too.

Right now it's not planned, but maybe we might offer such a control for skinning. I mean, that it is supported in skins, but by default. You should indeed use the 'gain only' for that purpose. Or, if you want coloration, use an allpass.

Hi Christian, and congratulations!

Please i need to know how to use a preset from the 1.0 to 1.5!

When i export, import, i've got a RJB (OK) error, and some strange eq is on the screen.
(.e-q)

if i use .fxp exporting by some host like dsp2vst, i've got a some weird screen error.

Thanks.

If you send me a mail then I will have a look at it. There is a copy protection that forbits loading presets which has been done with a demo/cracked version. I guess there is somewhere a bug in the detection of that. But I'll have a closer look.

christian, you've reviewed 'psp neon hr' for sound and recording. how would you judge your eq against neon hr? not from a personal view but more from a technical view. somebody asked here:

Sorry I can't tell anything about that. Or better, I won't tell anything about that. I already run into some trouble, here.
What I can tell is the technique behind is similar, but that's no secret anyway, it's basic DSP.

Kind regards,

Christian

There's an option in Nuendo to shift the focus to plugin interface and/or to allow key commands in plugins [something like that]. Just look through the options in Nuendo and see if it's enabled.

And if you disable it? I mean the plugin *should* work with both, but since I don't have nuendo, I can only guess. I have several options inside the code, if I know which works I can do a host depending setting. But not tonight. I'm going to bed,
