So far it looks like Jo likes MuJo, MuStation and MuZycian (or Muzycian) - that I've noticed.
I point that out now because I happen to like all 3 names myself.
Actually, I'm not sure how much he likes MuJo - I might be reading a little more into it than I should.
Regards
Caleb

I know its got the Mu and the Jo in it but Mujo seems the least connected to music. Wikipedia has mojo (closest real word I can think of) as a bag full of various magic charms from the African-American Hoodoo tradition. Catchy but not Luna.
Mustation, Musession conjure up a music application to me.
Muze though just right as far as a musical connection seems to horn in on the well received Muse/Receptor that's out there.
Muzycian/Muzician almost bring to mind an application but seem to be more a person, but then that works for Sibelius.
All seem a step up from Luna which, though an easy roll off the tongue, seems disconnected from the product.
Jo, did you consider keeping the Mutools up front of a two part name like just for instance Mutools Vivace as suggested earlier. Does the job of describing the music tool and lets everyone know just who designed it.

Yeah Mojo isn't specifically a music term, but I always think about music when I see it written because it was popularised in music.
But it was more a play on words (or rather syllables for me).
It managed to have Mu and Jo in it and it worked on a real word too - mojo - which refers to voodoo power. Cool.
I thought it was a pretty slick option myself.
But I'm just having fun really.

Not if you call it MuTune(s) Express and MuTune(s) Pro! Only joking - I see what you mean. It does roll off the tongue rather nicely though.Bonteburg wrote:sounds too much like a competitor of itunes on the consumer market to me
