OK, I see, it can be a particular host that doesn't work with some of the third-party modules, I guess.
I tested it in SynthEdit, Savihost, and Cubase. No such a problem with these hosts.

MIDI Library button is just a shortcut that opens the folder called 'MIDI Library'. I used to keep MIDI files there so that they could be dragged and dropped into the host (or used this button to access Dr.Modus's folders a bit faster than via Start Menu > My Computer > ...).

Got it going in FL studio as far as the drum sound menus, but only after I put in some midi notes and started the sequencer.Works good. thanks

No, it doesn't have a built-in sequencer. It's not a drum machine, just a sample player.

For anyone having problems with Alien Artifact, please try this...

Keep all of the files together in one folder in your VST directory. The dll file should be in the same folder as the prc and text files otherwise it will not work. This may solve some of the issues here.

It already unzipped in one folder. Sorry, would love to see what this is.

Edit=got it to work, but it does unzip all in one folder...just a folder in a folder in a folder.

Just place all the files (dll, prc, txt) into the one folder and then put that in your VST folder. That should fix it.

having trouble unzipping any DC zip files - getting corruption errors (CRC error is being reported).

Tried unzipping some old (couple weeks old) zip files I had downloaded to my desktop - no problems.

Is there something happening to the downloads?
