getting real nice sounds out of this, though i've never played on an original,so i couldn't say whether it's a good likeness or not.

Just a reminder bump to all you folks that liked my synth, if the voting is in fact still open to cast your vote for me. It's much appreciated.

Oddy-Free is great for some bass patches in a hurry.Chris Roberson wrote:Anyone try out my entry this year yet?
I know it's not a whole lot, but I feel the Oddy-Free does what it's purpose is extremely well.
I look forward to hearing any ideas, thoughts, suggestions, or problems with it once you've tried it on here.
Also if you'd be so kind as to choose the closest appropriate answer to the poll above, it'll help me immensely in the future.
Cheers,
Chris Roberson.

Just wanted to say thanks again to all those that used and especially those that voted for my Oddy. Coming 6th in the comp certainly beats the twenty-something spot I came in last year.
I don't know how much further I can take the actual synth, but I'd be glad to receive patches anyone has made with it. So far I've had about two people tops send me presets, so yeh.
I've got a Prophet 5 instrument coming up within a week or so, I've been struggling with getting a unison function working and it's just not cooperating, so I plan on releasing without it and maybe adding as a feature later on.
Again many thanks folks, I couldn't have done well without you all.

Well, I recently had to rebuild my workhorse computer cause the main board basically went out on me, and I'm trying to get my audio drivers in order so I can actually run SE without crashing.
But once I get that sorted all I need to do is compile the Prophet 5 emu, it's all ready to go I just need my comp to run stably. Hopefully I can get that done very soon too as my winter sabbatical from college has just started.

yo
sorry for your computer crashing, i know the feeling myself
im about doing a fresh reinstall with some new devices in the next future, and thats a thing i ALWAYS hate to do...(the fresh reinstall, not having new devices
all the best, Chris...glad to hear that you re still working on the last projects...btw...did you update some of the old ones by any chance? i cant remember well but, for instance, Digiwave seemed to me different, last time i tried it many months ago...maybe its only my ears doing a bad joke to me tho
Peace

Man this synth is a lot of fun, and then some! I found a bunch of patch sheets on this site: http://www.arpodyssey.com/patches.html
I managed to get the flute patch almost dead-on. Feel free to download it here:
http://users.telenet.be/bogaard/temp/oddy_flute.fxp
Will definately be using this in future compositions!
