Hey guys I just started making music, and I thought it would be a good idea to make a cover so I can start to learn how to make songs.

heres my first attempt, does anyone have any tips for making the whole track sound better all around? Thanks! (I know the synth part is a little off)

hava listen tell me wat u think.. its kinda got an inpetto feel to it lol.

used z3ta, zebra, sylenth & remember that with plucks using 8th are very important.

another way to recreate the pluck sound effect used by Deadmau5 is by using sidechain.

Careful, mentioning side chain compression around here is a good way to start some sh*t. Better to just play cool and just pretend that it's stupid and trendy, and act like you wouldn't want anything to do with it. You might offend the 'my musical tastes are superior to yours' kvr squad by spreading those tutorials around.

Are people still using this thread?

I'm a FL studio user just started Ableton live which is a litte out of my Comfort zone however I'm curious if it is possible or anyone would know how to produce this pluck sound in vanguard.

Or if we could go over all Oscilator settings and such.

This thread is really helpful reading alot and trying to study as much that has been said here. Pity alot of the patch's links are dead as they are too old.

Hey you guys I'm new, but check this out and see if it helps any. I made a similar patch using the SuperWave Trance-pro vst. I also used some compression, delay and a doubler. Hope you like the results.

My goal was Kaskade - Move For Me, but i end up with little bit different pluck. I should add more decay and release while opening the filter but it was very late

Electro House pluck
