Who exactly are you speaking to?? Me or someone else's comments?

We have sent press releases etc via all the normal channels a while ago when we released the product. Reviews in the print mags are on their way. etc. etc.

This group buy idea was initiated by people here in this thread, not us. We are trying it at your request in attempt to work together. It should take you about three seconds to realize the amount of time I am spending here to be responsive to everyone in effort to help this etc. So I really fail to see where you are coming from?? And it becomes quite frustrating to get this response...

O'boy. I think that's quite unfair to say that it "seems to be one of the worst public relations ever in history of marketing". It's far from.

Aether is a fantastic reverb but from today with hard competition so I think they have to lower the group buy price or lower the ladder steps to get this working.

I haven't signed up for it yet since believe it's a bit too steep ladder and we all know what the world economy looks like. I don't know if I still have a job this August so... but then... I really, really, really would like this.

Please? Be gentle with us. :)

You will know about most of these new reverb releases, because they are publishing it in every single popular magazine over the web. While you are not. Many customers who can purchase a $99 plugin will run for what they read about in their RSS readers.

You, smart one. I tried to send some releases about this group buy in some of these magazines. None of them returned anything. So, stop making fun of a dedicated customer and do your job, which is promoting your product.

I just wanted to help. This seems to be one of the worst public relations ever in history of marketing.
Dude chill a bit. You are not worthless but at the same time you are not so important as you think. We are all people though. Give them a break here and there. They can't satisfy every people here on KVR. Live with that.

Try to make your own product so you will see...

Are you perhaps mistakenly thinking that elxicano is working for 2C trying to sell aether? He's the one that replied to your thread. Galbanum has been very responsive and helpful to people. I don't see why you feel the need to be rude, especially when they have done a group buy in response to requests. Learn some respect man.

rsantiago, Just to be clear... I am not affiliated with, nor do I represent the views of ANY company. I'm just one more individual on KVR with an opinion, nothing more, nothing less.

I only responded because I think you were out of line with your comments, and still do with your latest comment.

It really doesn't do justice to a conversation by mentioning the latest reverb release. There was quite the buzz on KVR when this was released and I believe many individuals bought this at the introductory price when it was offered, which can be considered testament to that buzz.

This GB is nothing more than a company listening to potential customers and the KVR community. To me, that's great customer service as they're providing an opportunity that wasn't here before. I find that hard to complain about.

Furthermore, they've responded to many of the requests by updating the GB page and making it more visible. Compare this to the Ohmforce GB, which wasn't mentioned ANYWHERE on their site. It was mentioned in a blog which explicitly stated that it was left up to the users to spread the word. IMO 2cAudio has gone above and beyond what's usually expected from a GB.

From your post count, I'd assume you're new to this, so all I can say is be patient if you're actually interested.

Guys, guys. Soooo sorry. I was actually thinking elxicano's comment was from Galbanum's :((

Something wrong with page up/down and my eyes :((
I deleted this awful post. Sorry again.

Anyways, I am really looking forward about getting more people in this group buy. I just wish so hard to see this promotion everywhere. I'll buy it anyway, as I am commited to the promotion, and this actual level is a very fair price for me.

I reacted too hard on elxicano thinking it was Galbanum's post. Sorry guys.

rsantiago,

Thanks for being a stand up guy (or girl for that matter). I have deep respect for someone that is willing to admit when they are wrong.

This is quoted from the GB thread in the market place. I thought I'd also post it here as it shows a bit of aether's potential.

I've downloaded the demo and I'm loving this thing. I've been looking for a software reverb that can do those giant cinematic ethnic vocals. I think I've found it. I'm sure it excels at other things too.

I have a quick demo of this that I recorded. I just loaded it up in Bidule and started singing into it. The demo is really rough and quick but I think it showcases this potential well. This is a quick and dirty file of me doing some minor scale improvs and some Mongolian Ku Mai harmonic overtone throat singing. There are pitch drift issues with some of the throat singing (did I say this was quick and dirty? :D ).

I'll do more testing in my other main hosts Sonar and Samplitude just to make sure there are no issues. Other than that, I'm sold on the sound. I don't suspect there will be issues, but it's always good to demo first.

I've been super busy lately, but has anyone done a side-by-side with Redline Reverb and Aether?

Been doing that all day! They're both great I think. Aether may be a touch smoother in some cases and certainly more flexible. Quite a few more controls. Some controls in Aether I just can't seem to tell what effect it's having on the sound, like on the left hand side, the space shape and position. But Aether also usually uses 10-16% cpu on my machine whereas redline uses about 4% consistently.
