You're my new best friend :D
Never heard that unfortunately but would quite like to.

Coincidentally my latest track is called "Blow Up The Children"
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

Drum N bass isn't my absolute favorite genre, but Noisia's Reeces are my favs sounds

My favourite sound earlier on was Steven Slate Drums with VirSyn REFLECT coupled with a noise gate on the snare. F*cking awesome IMHO. I don't use the word awesome lightly because I f*ckig hate that word!

My favourite sound right now is by the real King of Rock'N'Roll!

Thin Lizzy - Bad Reputation

Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

I really like the sound of a song I just finished. Very satisfying to play it back after all that work, especially if I got to the point where I don't hear anything wrong with it. :)

there are way too many favorites, but in no particular order:

rain in the forest
birds in unexpected places (the little f**kers seem to be attracted to the noisiest parts of the city sometimes: parking lots, subway platforms, etc.) I love God's little singers :hihi:
thunderstorms
owls. all kinds.
far away trains (perhaps nostalgic? lived about a mile from the tracks when I was young...a long time ago)
that damn THX chord...again, probably nostalgic
cicadas (which really cannot be faithfully replicated on tape...at least not that *I've* heard yet...)
the bassline from Rundgren's version of For the Love of Money
the synth sound (repeating motif) in BoC's "One Very Important Thought"
that's enough for now (but I have to echo previous sentiments: Lisa Gerrard is an angel. I could listen to her always)

Manmade sounds i mean (dont list nature sounds) are all acoustic instrument sounds and Jean-Michel Jarre Oxygene and Equinoxe album sounds. and now i add nature sounds i like wind, thunder, and rains (all kinds) and birds and when rainforest background noise.

Simultaneously:
Really old jazz on a record player with light rain outside and a train far off in the distance on a sunday evening.

That's a good one!
I'm really fond of the sounds used on the opening track from "Geogaddi", "Ready Let's Go". Possibly one of the greatest things I've ever heard!

Today's answer: The spiraling, descending sound I think of as "Siberian wind organ" at the beginning of Wendy Carlos' "Funeral of Queen Mary" from the Clockwork Orange soundtrack -- not to slight the rest of the arrangement, which I call a masterpiece of sound design for mood-setting. (Another by Carlos: the two-LP Sonic Seasonings.)

The human voice (not mine, a good one)
