Thanks Doc, I'll try itDoc Jon wrote:.....oh, and for anyone else using Cubase and suffering from the infernal 'crackling Plex' curse, I pretty much eliminated it when it came to bouncing the mix down by setting the buffer size to the absolute maximum and exporting the audio in real time

Cheers Jon and nice trick with the rendering. Will inform the Plex site when comp is over that it seems no coincidence many had the crackling problem so at least the render trick should be mentioned if Plex is not updated to fix it.

Hm, it seems dark territory yet to be covered. Should probably have a no-pitch line in the rules, but as it isn't at the moment, I guess it just goes under the general "effect that transform the sounds to make them unrecognizable" and voters justice for now so depends how much was pitched, agree?z.prime wrote:What about ReaPitch?V'ger wrote:Cheers and welcome here, but I think you need to change the Vengeance Producer Suite - Philta as it's neither host- or freeware as per the rules.

Uploaded mine, it's called :
"Die !".
I used : 17 x Plex.
Track FX :
1 x Ambience (send)
3 x ReaComp
1 x Vos ThrillseekerLA.
Automation : 1x Pan.
Master Fx :
1 x Vos DensityMkII
1 x JB Ferox
1 x TLs Maximizer.
Enjoy.

It seems that a link to the track results in a nice player kind of thing in not IE browsers:

Submission for the OSCKVR 39 Contest
Song is titled key88-Plex2OSCKVR
DAW is Reaper v 4.22 x64
Instances of Plex 12
Master Effects Used Rocket Compressor Stillwell Audio
Bass0 Track Effects Used Classic Reverb & Rocket COmpressor
Line0 Track Effects Used Rocket Compressor
Kick Drum Track Effects Used Rocket Compressor
Snare Drum Track 2 Instances of Plex Effects Used Rocket Compressor
High Hat Track Effects Used Rocket Compressor
Crash Cymbal No effects used
Pad0 no effects used
Line1 no effects used
Line2 Used Classic Reverb & Rocket COmpressor
Line3 Used Classic Reverb & Rocket COmpressor
Line4 Used Classic Reverb & Rocket COmpressor
Also used an effects bus for the drum tracks which used Classic Reverb, Rocket Compressor and Stereo-Enhancer (Braindoc)
Very interesting synth, even though I didn't make extensive use of its capacity to create natural sounding sounds, I think this one would be great for a more acoustic/imitative type of genre.
