I'm not sure a HUGE arena would be easy to tame, but a large control room should be fine. I believe the largest I'm hearing about success with now is 14'x16'with 10' ceilings, just a couple of diffusors not really treated.musikmachine wrote:
Also to Peter how will Arc 2 help in larger less than ideal rooms?
Fwiw i too think the upgrade price is a little on the steep side and is why i want to try a demo prior to upgrading. The jam points will definitely help soften the blow though.
But yes, a demo would definitely help. Cheers!
It's my living room and kitchen but it's broken up with furniture and walls and i have panels behind my desk and either side of my monitors. The walls and ceilings are fully insulated and there is carpet on the floor so it's actually not a bad space. So i'm using Arc as full treatment is not an option and it helps but methinks it is asking a bit too much of Arc.
More accurate low end and greater mid/hi resolution seems like a no-brainer upgrade as it could save the cost of a monitor upgrade in the short term but is Arc 2 better at dealing with larger less-than-ideal spaces than 1? That is basically why i want to try it, it will help me determine a few thing with my set up. Cheers!
