Agree this comes under the 'unrecognizable' part of the rules and that it's up to each where the boundary lies unless it's so blatantly obvious that the submission will be disallowed out of hand (extremely rare). Otherwise it's a bit up the voters judgement where you might risk people giving less points etc.
Again, using reverb is of course allowed even if it has noisy tails, but by the way not Moverb as that's donationware, not freeware. Try FreeverbToo for some noisy tails, or look through the different algorithms of Freeverb3, in my opinion the best of all the free reverbs.

Upps, overlooked this. I will replace it. Normally I use FreeverbToo for such things. See my VST-list on the last tracks.V'ger wrote:...but by the way not Moverb as that's donationware, not freeware...
Thanks!

given that it doesn't seem to be cross-platform, your endorsement makes a great case for why free plugs SHOULD be cross-platformV'ger wrote:Freeverb3, in my opinion the best of all the free reverbs.

There is a Mac version of the 'single precision version' which is the most common type: http://freeverb3.sourceforge.net/downloads.shtml, so with that, Ambience, Reverberate LE and the TAL verbs all being cross platform, at least on the reverb front it's pretty even. Only the Epicverb of the better ones is PC only afaik.

Yes you're indeed right about Reverberate LE being PC only, missed the fact that Reverberate is for both, but not LE for some reason.. Same with SIR1 and SIR2 I see, but the Freeverb3 Impulser is anyway just as good as Reverberate LE, or maybe even better?
About the Freeverb3 link, it was messed up as I put a comma right next to it, but here is the working one: http://freeverb3.sourceforge.net/downloads.shtml
And here is the list of the effects in the Freeverb3 package: http://freeverb3.sourceforge.net/tutorial_vst.shtml As you can see, even a compressor and limiter there as well.

After lurking around for a while my first post and also my first contribution to the KVR One Synth Challenge.
It uses ~20 instances of Podolski plus reverb/delay/eq/slight compression from Ableton.

EDIT: (Of course the link doesn't work as it is my first post.)

my first transmission to the one synth challenge.
Track completely done in maschine 64bit.
29 instances of u-he Podolski used.
maschine intern effects mainly on drum sounds.
limiter, compressor, transient master, verb and beatdelay.
I have to say Podolski is a nice little synth which is very good on cpu
and has a nice filter. It was fun to made this track.

I can live without u-he stuff. But the fun fact is that the Podolski track is coming out quite nicely. Making the Aalto track was a bloody war.

Dead-on. It's half a dozen mouse clicks and the G'mic plugin. Nicebjporter wrote:RuediRena.... GREAT PIC!! Do you use Gimp?
