Yeah, but I still miss the White Channel and the Bus Compressor.Burillo wrote:don't join, the group buy wasn't meant to be for youfmr wrote:What about me? Right now, I have basically everything except the White Channel and the Bus Compressor. If I enter the Group Buy for the British Studio, I will have immeiately a duplicate - the British Channel. If the GB reach the 250, I will be offered a new bundle, which will be a complete duplicate, sonce I already have everything else. What is your advice for me?

Wait for a sale on the individuals. Eventually they come. Or wait to buy "used"...fmr wrote:What about me? Right now, I have basically everything except the White Channel and the Bus Compressor. Pro-tip: Buying the 200 credit pack with a certain coupon code is the best deal you can get one of the collections for with 10 credits left to spare. Look around, you'll find it...Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:By the way, the very collections we were originally discussing in this very thread are available without the need for Gear Credits and my post about them and the Group Buy in Market Place has links that go to our store and offer them for good ol' cash so... We are trying to offer options here, and I'm failing to see how terrible Custom Shop is in all this.

I don't have a real problem with Custom Shop overall. I like being able to have my rig carry over to the machines I have Amplitube installed on. Also, most of my gear credits have been discount by JamPoints, coupon codes and bulk buys so I've gotten killer deals on those.
The presets including unpurchased gear COULD be easily resolved by adding that says, "do not include presets for gear I don't own". I hope they do that. Only recently have I run into that one.
As I've said elsewhere, my only beef is with the licensing that you can't deactivate where you'll eventually have to "phone home" to get reinstated. I don't like that. I should be able to handle my own deactivations without having to call anyone. I've run into this in the middle of projects too many times to ever feel comfortable with that. I'm a paying customer and an adult so I should at least be trusted to handle my own deactivations.

@ frankz00
You should consider posting the info here, if you don't want to get flooded with PMs.
Also to avoid this thread being spammed with requests by people who are not able to write you a PM.
