Any chance of getting the distortion module in bazille as a small freebie stand-alone vst plug-in for christmas? :) would be handy, the pre and post tilt eq's are great for shaping the sound.
Padamantium - 100 Pads for Repro-5 available now @ The Patchbay.
Also packs for TAL-UNO-LX, Oddity 2, TAL-Bassline101 https://thepatchbay.co.uk/creator/kimik/

One issue i think I've encountered. After tweaking a preset and making up a little riff i then went to freeze track in Ableton (since one Bazille can easily max my CPU). All good so far. Later on (in a different session, after saving and quitting) i decided to unfreeze the track so i could work a bit more on it and what was there after unfreezing was significantly different. I can't remember what i did in Bazille to be able to say if Ableton had forgotten any of the parameter changes but the difference in sound seemed like more than any of the random variations that could be attributed to the patch settings themselves. My feeling is that Ableton forgot some (if not all) of the adjustments I'd made to the patch before bouncing, this may be a fault with Ableton, rather than Bazille but I figured I'd mention it anyway.

This could be an accidental MIDI Learn… check this out:

Would also love to see Bazille's distortion module as a stand alone effect, it is very nice!

i compared the raw osc saw to some other synths cause for some patch i couldn t get the sound i m after, there is roll of the highs,i love this synth but raw osc sound matter a lot to me cause i like the less processing on my sound and right now the saw is kinda dark and it don't sound natural to me, like it s filtered, if there is a lowpass or something would be nice to have a option to disable it

Post

Suggestion for Bazille, which is a wonderful addition to my sonic arsenal. A simple on/off for each oscillator , maybe on the top header. Easier than unplugging cables sometimes when you have complex patches. Also for total bliss or mayhem feed it through the MFM 2.

It is not a "true" saw. It uses Phase Distortion.

Maybe the FM-Saw is better for you (oscillator phase-mod'ing itself)?

btw, there's a small trick to get around that:

Just feed the osc raw output into it's PD mod (about 20% amount? ) ...and you'll have a sharp saw.

EDIT: listened to this with headphones and found weird hi end with lo notes, so 3ee suggestion is better.

 Maybe the best solution for raw unfiltered bright saw on lower notes (and free of aliasing on higher notes even without HQ on!?) is to use tapmap as waveform, inverted ramp with zero amount of phase distortion.

Yep - if you want a ton of aliasing :)

Hi,
Just found a bug using Ableton live version 9.1.5 (32 bit) and the APC40 midi controller.I assigned the filter cutoff of Bazille to one of the rotary encoders on the APC40 and everything seemed to be working fine, but today I have updated my copy of Ableton and when loading the same project now, when I mess with the filter cutoff Bazille will go silent and not make any more sound.Any idea??
thanks!

Wow!!!

I 'experienced' some sounds that almost made me weep! So beautiful!

I am definitely buying (although I can only run it in 'LQ' mode)!

Regarding that, a few questions:

- Is it possible to make the HQ/LQ setting a 'global' parameter i.e. that the synth determines if it's in HQ or LQ mode? So that it cannot be overriden by the loaded preset?

- Is it possible to add an option to the oscillosscope to turn it off to (possibly?) reduce CPU?

Right click on the HQ knob and select locked... you can lock it in the state you want

Hi Chris,
this is known and likely the same bug as the one V-GER posted here:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5#p5892923
I posted an inconvenient workaround below his post. We try to fix this asap.
Sorry.
Cheers,
Michael
