I'm afraid you missed this: https://www.facebook.com/WaldorfMusic/p ... 7823830682
Where was I? :dog:
Yes, I missed it

Anyway, I might buy Nave or Largo in the end of 2015.
Largo I have demoed it two times, and I know most of it, so I hope there will be a demo for Nave soon so I try it as well. I'm interested for Attack (PC) if it will be like in the iPad (or more or less advanced) version. Let's see what will Waldorf release then.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I wonder why they even bother with a VST/AU version then.

Btw. Hobbyists make synths. Professionals make games or social media apps.

Edit: Anyhow. Pissed about the price. Should be 20e like on other platforms. I'll rather get the iOS version(if any).

I'll just go on record saying Nave is totally worth the money Waldorf asks for it. There, I said it. :D

Two things I'm puzzled about are:

1. Did they improve sound quality of Waldorf Edition plugins. PPG Wave V3 is one of the best sounding synths out there. I wounder if they improved V2 up to same level or just remade the GUI and added effects.

2. Why the hell do they not allow the discount code on their upgrades. I have a spare license of Waldorf Edition LE that I thought I'd upgrade to full and then give to my brother. But nope, can't use the code, so will pass as this is not something I absolutely need or want.

It was shown in the video.
I think the sequencer will only be in the iPad version....
Looks like it - only the iPad version has the pattern and drum pad mode.
Pity... might have been fun. Only the "bigger" Drum Sampler come with a pattern sequencer these days.

Tellingly, the classic Waldorf Edition has had a visual makeover, but its core values remain unchanged and unchallenged: the holy trinity of inspiring software instruments! Get your groove on with a slamming drum synth providing plenty of powerful percussion voices. Flex your sound-sculpting muscles with a real – and really assertive – Waldorf filter.

The new Waldorf Edition 2 version also brings an exceptionally expanded effects section (with Delay, Equalizer, Drive, Phaser, Flanger, Chorus, and Reverb)
Waldorf Edition 2 will be available 2nd quarter 2015 for 69 €. All owners of a Waldorf Edition will be able to update for 10 € only.

Thanks for the info, Ingo.

Even if there is not Crossgrade price, 69EUR is still fair considering what you actually get, and how much the "original" Waldorf Edition cost (which was way over 200DM IIRC). Though a crossgrade price would be nice to know.

Just one question, for you as beta forum manager - and so far this wasn't answered:
Will the new plugins/collection go Syncrosoft? Or will they remain as they are (with the Steinberg collection, it was a CD check on install, later it was no serial - just installation)?

Attack still rocks my world.

Nice, I really like Nave on iOS, but have always struggled to integrate iOS apps into my workflow. I'll be happy to get the VST version.

It's great that they decided to update the Waldorf Edition to make it ready for today and the future. I still use Attack a whole lot.
I'd really love to see a more extensive update of Attack, though, with more Osc, Filter & Modulation options, though!

I just tested to enter the coupon code for the upgrade version of PPG Wave 3.V (without actually buying it) and it seems to work. The price with the discount is 69,30 € instead of 99 €.

It indeed does not seem to work with the Upgrade version of Walodrf Edition but for all other software products like Largo, PPG Wave 3.V, Waldorf Edition (full version), Lector and PPG Wave 3.V upgrade.
Additionally also for some soundsets.

Also seems to work when purchasing the full Waldorf Edition and PPG Wave 3.V upgrade at once. In that case the price for both products is reduced from 158 € to 110 €.

For those who did not notice the coupon code is: NAMM2015

Such great decision to release a wonderful and unique Eurorack module like this. This seems to be the most versatile wavetable module available so far. Of course, it's Waldorf! ;) Brilliant. :P

Still expensive. I was able to buy Glowfish on the iPhone App Store for $2. :hihi:

Why are people in EU (and Switzerland) so afraid of showing their true worth? :?

To us up here in the north it is a very democratic thing to know and share such information.
I wasn't aware, but I personally would be in favour of something like that all over Europe (I don't mention US because I think that would mean a collapse of all their society :hihi: )
