I love MPOWERSYNTH

MPowersynth starts to sound a bit outtated, doesn't it? An overhaul for more fatness and organic sound would be nice.

It is a type of synth which can do anything. It's user's failure if they can't make fat sounds out of it.

I can make fa(r)t sounds with it. does that count?

It's surely not the UI, which is not that great and can be confusing.

But you are supposedly a UI designer. How can you overlook the horrible multi-tab generic hideousness of Melda UIs? Have you gone insane?

Actually some of the demos sound pretty impressive. If Melda would hire a professional UI designer, they could be a major player.

Not only colors and texture, their whole layout need fundamental changes.

I actually find that once you learn the basic Melda design, the UIs are pretty clear and easy to use. There’s internal consistency, so while not being the most intuitive plugins, they’re easily learned. It’s actually reminiscent of Absynth in many ways.

Not all plugins sound the same and MPowersynth (which i own) is lacking in some aspects. In my ears. Has nothing to do with the user. It's the sound character.
