@u-he peeps : Tis nearly August, and HZ is still at 3304. Any likelihood of a parity update for Zebra HZ soonish?Alexander_D wrote:I think that Zebra HZ doesn't updated yet...MorpherX wrote:Hi,
in my u-he account I only found Dark Zebra v3304, not the common v 3437. Is this intented ?

New betas are in the works - if successful, they will result in a full maintenance update (all products). quite soonish.

The betas are almost imminent. We were going to test in closed beta last Monday, but a few more things required attention. Today we need to test some last minute fixes such as the fix for "registration window opens behind plug-in window in Cubase 8" (which was a side effect of fixing something else, I think "panel open buttons don't show right state when panel closed from another button"). If all goes well we'll have a closed beta testing over the coming weekend, then public beta from Thursday in a week.
The good news is, our current statistics say that out of 2 bug fixes only 1 causes another bug. Unfortunately, ever since DAWs host plug-ins on multiple CPU cores, things have become fragile. A bug can pop out of nowhere and often a fix is a workaround that requires a cadence of further workarounds. I'd say that more than half of the major bugs we encounter weren't bugs in 2005 - but they became bugs in the years thereafter. Nevertheless I think we got on top of it now (and after the upcoming update we can hopefully put some attention to VST3 again).

Hehe, sorry, there are a few leftover bugs that we need to attend to again. It's almost done but we need another weekend or so of internal testing...

Is it just me going nuts, or is zebra's "swing generator" no longer functioning?

Just tried with arpeggiator, LFO and MSEG - fully working here, but of course we're at revision 38xx internally...EdHarvey wrote:Is it just me going nuts, or is zebra's "swing generator" no longer functioning?

Send preset to support at u-he dot com and I'll check it out (not sure if it could be a hosting issue)
