Your favorite guitar amp sim

You know, most what you're hearing is poor note choice and the chorus I have on it. I went back and used it again and it always sounds slightly out of tune compared to when the "again" module is turned off. But don't trust me, just download the patch and see for yourself. It actually sounds better when the tuning slips down slightly. The sharps were note choice. But as I said earlier, it's a demo of a patch, because people ask for them. But try it out

I was speaking more generally...

I love ReValver and I've been using it for years...I like the MK III.V version...

The new version doesn't seem to bring much more to the table than a coat of paint...

The thing I like most about ReValver - apart from the feel and the sound - is the ability to plug in the third party VST's....

That's a Godsend and I get to use all of my favourite toys inside the rack....

I don't use any of the Peavey effects or cabinets...

Just a few of the amps included in the package...

I use mixIR2 for the cabinets and plug Redwirez impulses into it...

That's a home run right there...Multi dimensional...

If you want chorus,drop Valhalla's UberMod into ReValver,dial up some of their modulation and you'll wet your pants

OK, well I highly disagree that the new version brings nothing to the table. It's like I wrote earlier, there is no one who has got their head around the program yet. Take a listen to my bloody desktop. That's all Revalver 4 without compression except for a slight one on the center track. I've tried redwirez and it didn't impress me, neither did Valhalla. To each his own though. But I'll retry mixIR2 again if you give R4 another turn

W/o doubt you should look into Markbass 2, you should go to the classifieds right now and see if anyone has it for a good price

Excellent product, never had an issue with it but TBH, I kinda like the Cerberus more. Yeah, I'm screwin' myself saying that but just because honesty is the best policy I think you can get any tone out of Cerberus whereas you might not like every amp model in the MKII.

I'm currently in awe of all of the Ignite Amps stuff, whether for bass or guitar. They actually physically build their amps, so at the moment I'm inclined to trust them more than just any random developer. Their manuals are quite in-depth and informative. For bass, the SHB-1 with an Ampeg SVT 8x10 Redwirez impulse sounds like all I will ever need. For guitar I've been experimenting heavily these past couple of months, and now I'm getting closer and closer to the sound in my head with the TPA-1 preceded by Emissary/Anvil/LePou stuff and followed by a good Redwirez impulse.
