I see what you are after, but you may be glad to know that I already planned that.
So far you can only change two colours in Sinnah GUI, but I will implement more expanded colours schemes allowing to change also background and fonts colours. Since I know very well (all developers know) that you can't please everybody with a single GUI design. So while I was coding my custom library for vectors drawn GUIs, the colouring options were alredy planned.

The contrast depends on many factors, the type and the settings of monitors, if you work in a dark or bright room, and the subjective sesitivity of the eyes, and the taste of course.

Already by selecting this

you should have a little less contrast,
Anyway so far I mostly put yellow, blu, red and greed for the mood and taste you may have.
Yellow at first have been choosen to releate to the famous daHornet
Image

So there will be a bigger menu for colours in Sinnha, with more shades and background and fonts colours too.
your dark background is fine for those that prefer it, as it is not pitch black. but im glad to hear you plan on adding the ability to switch it to something like a light grey tone. thanks!

btw, that Da horny thing is horrid.

Good to see you're learning. A little humility does go a long way. :tu:

Thanks for this synth .. I have no problem with the gui. In fact I like its simplicity. :tu:

Eclectus wrote:Been playing around with Sinnah for a few hours and found a small bug. I have no idea if it has already been reported. If so, please ignore this post. If I change the octave setting while holding notes on the keyboard, those notes become stuck. (Releasing the notes on the keyboard does not release the notes on the synth.) To unstick them I need to find the correct notes on my keyboard (now one octave up or down) and hit them again. Otherwise I found no bugs, and CPU seems really low.
Yes, I forgot to put that in the known issues. So far octave setting is meant to be changed after noteOff. To unstuck notes if that happens you can use the poly|mono swicth, that will reset all notes. Thanks

Thanks 1wob2many.
1wob2many wrote:I'm using Sonar X3 64 bit on windows 7. It seems to be one of those DAWs, as noted on the tool tip, that sometimes needs to reopen the GUI when increasing the size.
We'll see if that's fixable, every host handles plugin window size it's own way.

Easy to fix.Thanks.
1wob2many wrote:I noticed in the html file installed in the Sinnah folder, you twice use Sinnha instead (3rd paragraph of Planned Features).
Yes I see now. Thanks I will fix the typo.

Thanks again.

Great, so it was more than glitchy on screen, it missed the proper functions.
Congrats for the job!

I vote for this:
liqih wrote:To vote for a features you can simply write on the forum or send an e-mail.

Possible features planned so far for Sinnah Pro or Sinnah freeware:

others:
# : arpeggiator
# : A <> B presets morphing

I hope you'll consider a Delay and/or Attack on the LFO. I use this a lot on most synths, and find it to be an important parameter. :)

I also really like your simple vector-based (and resizable!) GUI, especially the blue layout - perfect color of blue too!

But I'm not as thrilled with the foggy logo. I'd prefer a sharp logo, more inline with the vector graphics. Just seems a little corny, to me (no offense).

Thanks for this most interesting synth!

It hangs notes in FL studio (using computer keyboard) even with keyboard focus disabled.

Liqih, please re-free daHornet for OSXintel ! :scared:

Thanks for the feeback, Attack on the LFO is surely good to have, but you mean a possible next LFO or the 3 current LFOs in the delay matrix?
