Urs, what do you think about a standalone that can load any owned Uhe plugins, but instead of being a VST interface plugin, it would be a UHE interface plugin? This would allow plugins to work precisely as you intend them to on every OS.
Psst.. this is great advice.

Is it possible to save the Modulation Matrices (A + B) as a complete chain?
E.g. the Mod Matrix Slots 1 to 6 (which is A) as own preset?
I have programmed some very cool mod combinations and would like to apply the exact same one to another patch which has very similar sound characteristics.

No need to do something that has been done numerous times before.Vertion wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 11:26 am Urs, what do you think about a standalone that can load any owned Uhe plugins, but instead of being a VST interface plugin, it would be a UHE interface plugin? I heard the new NanoHost is quite effective and free.

Edit: oh I see it's Win and Linux only. Most probably there's something similar for OSX too.

FYI
Some tiny issues on preset save:
* The description between patch save and module save is shared. E.g. when you save a mod matrix preset and enter a description. When you then save the whole patch, the same description appears. This is pointless as the usage of a module preset is very different from a complete patch.
* No word wrap on the description and usage fields in the save dialog.

I find mouse dragging some knobs is a little too fast/sensitive. Such as: fine tune, output (general), LFO rate, FG slopes, vibrato LFO rate, filter input, oscillator pan, mod matrix depths. Overall, they're inconsistent. I think it would be nice if they were all slower, more controlled.

Re Ju-X hostingAU "beeps with every keystroke": Then "Turn off LazyKey" (cmd+L)
BTW I use Ju-X hostingAU all day, every day. It's a thing of beauty

I'd much rather have text input exactly how all other plugins do it, and have it working in all hosts, than being able to do the type-away thing...Urs wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 10:58 amThat is correct. We have to somehow add a hyper-greedy operating system text input control (in a non-plugin overlay window) to make it happen. Which means, there's no way to do the type-away thing and full keyboard control sicne displaying the text input field needs a prior action, either by mouse or by "agreeable hotkey".Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Sun Jun 02, 2019 1:19 am Not to add to Urs depression, but some plugins definitely do allow for text entry of values regardless of host. I think every one of those plugins requires a cursor to appear in a text entry box and I'm not sure if that's the key to success, but it definitely can be made to work.
Also, it doesn't have to be in a non-plugin window, at all? See Kontakt:

Or is that just camouflaging it really well?

Urs, I have a question. Why oscs settings / wavetable types are pull-down menus - they wouldn't stand well to increasing number of entries.
Murderous duck!

Would you guys please, please, please give us the option to disable the auto-assigning of blank XY slots when loading patches. I start my patches with my own templates that are almost as barren as they can be with little to no mod assignments and it is incredibly annoying to not be able to save and recall them that way.
And annoyance aside this gives rise to other problems such as playing a sequence in you DAW that has the XY automated and cycling through patches to find just the right one only to have it change the XY assignments to something you don't want and screw up the patch which then has to be fixed by hand.
