My take is that treble boosters were more useful in the 60's than now. If you've ever played a Tweed Champ, which is what Clapton and other famous treble booster users recorded through back then, you'll know that it is a dull, boxy sounding amp that really needs a treble booster to give it life. I have a BYOC Tri-Boost and the treble booster setting is the one I use the least.Been intrigued by the K B Range II Treble Boost. Not a lot of components.
