Dang! I'm not sure I can handle (m)any more head explosions XDUrs wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 3:57 pm (you have seen nothing yet, though. The tab I've never shown is the one which causes most head explosions... let me keep that for August or so, and there's going to be an intermediate explosion of other topics regardingsoon...)
Is this Zebra3 at SuperBooth???

I really have to make sure I don't submit to my impulse of posting more stuff.
Have even forgotten to test the other bug I fixed today. Sheesh.
Also, because this seems to get discussed on various Discords, it doesn't import nor export .wav or .vawt yet. It imports and exports .svg, but I guess that doesn't help. It will import .wav, maybe .vawt. In due time.

I wouldn´t mind to step in to help a little bit with testing...Urs wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 9:41 pm Have even forgotten to test the other bug I fixed today. Sheesh.
I would prefer also keeping .svg ---> so we could draw stuff in Affinity Designer or other software.

-> support at u-he dot com
(nothing to test anytime soon... other than CLAP... you got Bitwig?)

Sure, I have Bitwig... then I will write to the support and ask for instructions where I can put myself to a good cause.Urs wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 9:50 pm-> support at u-he dot com

how to not do a demo video:
- be home, not in office
- be slightly tipsy
- have a very old version of the software around (super old UI assets you don't recognise anymore)
- not have OBS around
- use the pixel editor instead of the vector application
- expect "paste" to be in drop-down menu, because that's what you would do
- wonder why it's only a couple of pixels on a large blank canvas
- whatever

I like that very much... (the video with Affinity)
Then I will write them on Tuesday...

I think I discovered the "Fin-onacci" sequence....
Am curious how this will sound especially when morphing with a mirrored version of itself, or bending/skewing it. (probably similar to Fractalize in Bazille when using Res1-3?)
I am also wondering how and if oversampling will affect the resolution of the .svg or the .wav file that is generated from it. (especially with such sequences -->0)
I would also very much look forward to .svg import in the Envelope/MSEG/LFO section (and all OSC related features like morphing curves(WT), ENV/LFO FX, LowPass [for .wav import], multiply curve with Chaos/Randomness [by x %], etc.).

OK, call me crazy but I was thinking how cool would it be to have a waveshaper with an editor like the one we saw in the Zebra3 preview? And then imagine if you could morph the wave (edit: transfer curve) with LFOs and envelope followers and what not...
Urs, I know you were planning to use a similar concept for editing MSEGs and other stuff, so what do you think about maybe one day adding a waveshaper module in Zebra3? I guess it's already kinda like the fold module currently in Zebra2. Anyway, I would have so much fun if such a thing existed.

You are not the only having those exact thoughts. Plus imagining the possibilities if envelopes, MSEGs, and LFOs are themselves subject to the same type of morphing.NAD wrote: Sat Jun 11, 2022 9:23 pm OK, call me crazy but I was thinking how cool would it be to have a waveshaper with an editor like the one we saw in the Zebra3 preview? I love the fold module in Z2 btw, especially in combination with an FMO. If Z3 implements FM so that any Wavetable can be a carrier or modulator (rather than a dedicated FMO with fixed waveforms...which I would hope the Z2 waveforms would be available as an oscillator preset in such as case...), then Z3 will be a monster.
