CLAP, the Plugin Format (of the future?)

I think once JUCE 9 adds support for CLAP, the floodgates will open since a ton of plugin devs will have effectively gotten CLAP build support for free (assuming they keep up with SDK versions). But of course Melda's plugins aren't built with JUCE - they use their own internal framework so I can certainly appreciate the reluctance. But that will change in due course come market demands, and of course time investment to see if it really is that easy to support as a drop-in thing.

...also an MComplete owner too. I'd certainly love to delete any VST/3 dupes and replace with CLAP builds myself.
