- Owning any previous FX Collection gives the greatest percentage off.
-otherwise- owning any FX (free or not) gives a discount, but whether you own 1 free or 12 individual paid effects, the discount is the same. - Owning V Collection gives an additional percentage off.
- Owning Pigments may give an additional percentage off. It does with some bundles & upgrades.
- Analog Lab has no bearing on discounts for FX Collection.

Best I have been able to determine the discounts are dynamic. Here is my observation over the years with FX Collection.

That's strange because I own FX Collection 3, V Collection 8, and Pigments and yet my discounted price is $69 whereas it's $29 for other Arturia customers. I might have upgraded for $29 but not for $69.kidslow wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 2:32 am Best I have been able to determine the discounts are dynamic. Same for me! (still thinking of upgrading though). But if it'd be €29 I wouldn't even hesitate.Ex Machina wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 3:15 amThat's strange because I own FX Collection 3, V Collection 8, and Pigments and yet my discounted price is $69 whereas it's $29 for other Arturia customers. I think the difference for FX3 customers is:
FX3 without Coldfire or LX24 - 69
FX3 with one of Coldfire or LX24 - 49
FX3 with both Coldfire and LX24 - 29 (gaining only the rotary)
I don’t think the MS20 impacts the pricing at all between those tiers, but it might.

I also own Emulator II V, SQ80 V, Mini V3, Mellotron V, and both Analog Lab V and Augmented Strings Intros too.Tronam wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 1:49 amSame for me, but perhaps Arturia are deepening the discount for users who also own some of their instruments. I don't own V-Collection, so I'm assuming that's why my FX upgrade is $199.VitaminD wrote: Thu Jun 01, 2023 5:56 pmOdd.whyterabbyt wrote: Thu Jun 01, 2023 3:40 pm well, that's a no-brainer; upgraded from three free plugins, for 99€
On the Effects side, I own Filter Mini, Filter MS-20, REV-Plate 140, Tape Mello-Fi, Chorus JUN-6 (all freebies) plus the paid for 3 Modulations You'll Use bundle (Chorus Dimension D, Phaser Bi-Tron and Flanger BL-20) and my crossgrade price is 199 USD.
Their discount pricing is bizarre. But congrats on the discount!
I just don't think their discount model is correct for everyone. It's like their discount system doesn't pick up on all products or something.

Yes. Probably should focus on coming up with more interesting song ideas and arrangements and not micro details such as if their 224 plugin sounds authentic enough.exmatproton wrote: Fri Jun 02, 2023 11:23 pm .......aaaaaand when people listen to the mixes 'we' make, they will never hear the difference between uad's, arturia's and lexicons 224. I have FX Collection 3, V Collection 9, Pigments, Minifreak, Augmented Brass, LX-24, and Filter MS-20 and they want $99 from me. Granted, I got each of the above for less than the retail price, so maybe that has something to do with it. Anyway I’d only be getting the rotary effect and the distortion effect so I might give it a miss until/unless a better deal comes up later.adl wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 3:28 amSame for me! Edit: I wonder if it’s because I got LX-24 in a bundle with FX Collection 3, so it shows up on my “products” page but not my “orders” page.

That doesn’t seem right. I got LX-24 and FX3 together, too, and my upgrade price is $49.mjm1138 wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 4:10 am I have FX Collection 3, V Collection 9, Pigments, Minifreak, Augmented Brass, LX-24, and Filter MS-20 and they want $99 from me. Yep, I even put it in my cart since others reported that the price changed in the cart. Stays at $99. Oh well, I have nice distortion effects and rotary effects aren’t really my thing. I can wait it out until FX Collection 5 shipsjamcat wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 4:40 amThat doesn’t seem right. So even more nuance than I realized once you own the FX collection. I am mainly focused on what gets the price discounted from $199 to $99 without owning the FX collection, because that's where I am.jamcat wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 4:34 amThis is 100% correct.iamadan wrote: Sat Jun 03, 2023 3:43 am I think the difference for FX3 customers is:
