"Haters" hated it because of the GUI and this revenge narrative in their head where it was supposed to kill Serum and re-revolutionize wavetable synthesis because Serum did that to Massive before. Notice how very few haters across various forums had any complaints about the sound. Now you'd be shocked to learn what happened to be the subject of this thread

Again, no absolutes in either direction and my example stated another. Which appears more to be the current trigger spawning of defensiveness using the topic at hand. I like its sound, but it's not worth the relationship to me.

I assume you were hung up about the sad state thread so I gave it a read, but people were talking about the new hardware and backcompat. It also doesn't seem to have escalated to the point where shills needed to work overtime somewhere else to counteract the "negativity"?

tbh the initial push back on it was always about fairly smallish issues that were very possible to work past. A lot of whinginess. Some people just don't like NI, or take a selective approach to what's been released.
