One little extra I'd like to see is the option to arrange the modules freely on screen. Currently they always snap to the left which I'm not that keen on and I would have thought it'd be fairly easy to add.

It does look very cool and I really need to day to dig my way into it and those lovely new looking modules! I mean, it isn't Tassman, and it never will be, but it's getting close to being just as flexible and fun.
I don't often see the AAS crew on KVR so you'd probably be better of sending them an email or raising a ticket to ask about module arrangement improvements.

You can do that now. Just grab a module and place it where you want it.kingtubby wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 3:25 pm One little extra I'd like to see is the option to arrange the modules freely on screen. If I add new modules by double clicking, they get added to the right side for me, but can be moved by just grabbing it.
If you grab the module at the bottom left of the screen instead of double clicking, you can just place it anywhere.

Yes, I can move them around by clicking and dragging, it's just that on release they snap to the nearest module on the left. For example, I'd like to be able to position them in little groups with some space between, that kind of thing.felis wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 5:32 pmYou can do that now. It's not a big deal really - just a minor change I'd like to see.

Coming from CV1, this is the first time I've run across the Advanced tips in the Patching section.
Some very nice quick shortcuts when building stuff.
For a lot of them to work though, the modules have to be next to each other rather hodge-podge all over the screen area.
That could be part of the reasoning for having modules touch. IDK

I'm seeing $49.00 to upgrade from CV2. (I also have a CV1 license). That's with the current 25% OFF deal.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 8:09 amNot so tempting that it’s the same price from CV-2, and they never took Tasman owners into account eitherslackhead wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 6:19 am I didn't take up version 2 either but the upgrade from CV-1 to this new version is just $39 which is very tempting. Polyphonic modular with mpe, the new FM and acoustic oscillators and comb filters could be an interesting beast.

My upgrade/crossgrade offer during last months special promo was from Tassman to CV-2 for $39, (I did not have CV-1) with CV-3 being free when released, to anyone having bought CV-2 after Nov 15th. So, $49.00 is apparently the current previous version-owner/loyalty discount. The 25% off sale reduces the regular/list price of $199.00 to $149.00.thecontrolcentre wrote: Thu Feb 20, 2025 11:38 pmI'm seeing $49.00 to upgrade from CV2. (I also have a CV1 license). I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

I paid $39 to upgrade too, but like you say, that was the pre-order price before it came out.Shabdahbriah wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 1:22 am My upgrade/crossgrade offer during last months special promo was from Tassman to CV-2 for $39, (I did not have CV-1) with CV-3 being free when released, to anyone having bought CV-2 after Nov 15th. I guess if it's $49 now, it's an introductory price.
The site says: "....If you’ve pre-ordered Multiphonics CV‑3 or registered a new Multiphonics CV‑2 license after November 15, 2024, Multiphonics CV-3 should already be in your account today—completely free of charge..."
I've had a bit of time to start using it, and I've gotten some real good stuff from it quickly.

Finally, this is the one you need from AAS to cover all the others and you get the long awaited MPE! I should start to make new sounds…

I remember Tassman having a preset creator that was creating all kinds of realistic physical models of acoustic sounding instruments is that kind of thing still ongoing in the community of users with this newer product?
