Hopefully, there will be finally more rack space available.

I didn't take up version 2 either but the upgrade from CV-1 to this new version is just $39 which is very tempting. Polyphonic modular with mpe, the new FM and acoustic oscillators and comb filters could be an interesting beast.

polyphony is here a attractive feature for me...

MPE is the most attractive. That gives hope for MPEfication of the other AAS synths in the future… I bet Expresivee pushed them…

Not so tempting that it’s the same price from CV-2, and they never took Tasman owners into account eitherslackhead wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 6:19 am I didn't take up version 2 either but the upgrade from CV-1 to this new version is just $39 which is very tempting. Log in and click on the upgrades tab. It says $39, but when you click on it, there's 2 options - one is $129 and the other is $159, and they both are to upgrade to CV2, and include the upgrade to CV3 when it comes out.slackhead wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 6:19 am I didn't take up version 2 either but the upgrade from CV-1 to this new version is just $39 which is very tempting. Polyphony and MPE are the main draws for me.

If you have Bitwig, you can make CV-1 or CV-2 polyphonic using the instrument selector.

Nope, not here. Here its click on the offers/upgrades item under the little account icon on the top right of the site (when logged in), find the Multiphonics CV-3 upgrade 'Add to Cart' button, click it, View Cart and there it is for $39.felis wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 12:47 pm Log in and click on the upgrades tab. edit : Oh wait, mine would be an upgrade from CV-2. Nevermind.

Set Theory claim:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate.
Red is Red and anything that is Red is an object, a class in itself or a real thing if you prefer"

This only works, if you do simple synth patches, things you can do with a Minimoog for example. But if you want some parts (modulations) monophonic and some parts polyphonic, it doesn't, or is too much work. Especially if you use non tempo-synced mod sources.Korg Supporter wrote: Fri Jan 24, 2025 1:14 pm If you have Bitwig, you can make CV-1 or CV-2 polyphonic using the instrument selector.

$39 is very close to an impulse buy.

I was wrong.
I just added the $39 upgrade to CV3 and it looks like it will go through coming from CV1.
I'm not sure exactly what that would do though as CV3 isn't out yet. Has anyone done it?
Does it go directly to CV2, or does it do nothing until CV3 comes out?
I guess those other higher offers are for someone buying into it for the first time.
