The EQ is cool, but I'd like all 4 positions to have multiple Q types. Unless I am missing something and it already does.........platinumears wrote:Too right!Lunch Money wrote: The T sampler is actually quite useful for many things! I didn't think it was until recently when I realized how useful it can be. Obvious limitations exist (VERY obvious), but its simple beauty has been underestimated, I feel.
I also use the native hi-/lo-pass filter ALL the time. It's simple and dirty. The native level/panning plug also counts as an "effect" since it can be put into a rack and you can do neato stuff with it.
Not much for free.. I rather like T's EQ, but these days I tend to use my own Dynamic EQ on everything.Lunch Money wrote:I haven't used the EQ much, and I imagine there's better out there.![]()

No, there's a low shelf, 2 mid bands, and a high shelf.
I don't know that I'd find assignable shape types to be particularly handy, but that's just me.
Something to consider is that it's still a whole lot better than a plain old 5- or 7- band parametric EQ (is that the right word? With the little faders?) that he could have gone with.
I wonder how many people have taken the time to explore the native plug-ins. I know for sure that I neglected them for a long time, so it wouldn't surprise me if others are in the same boat.
Platinumears-- where's a link to your EQ?

I went and saw the Life Aquatic last night. The main guy reminded me of someone. I felt like I had seen him somewhere before. It was an odd feeling, almost like deja vu...

Are you thinking of the furry guy with his paws on the steering wheel in the picture a few posts above? That groundhog gets around!pough wrote:I went and saw the Life Aquatic last night.
