What I was trying to say is that in EVE 1.x you can synchronize the delays with the tempo by pressing the sync button, but the delay time will not be changed when the host tempo changes. It's by design, it's not broken.

Aldo.
thanks for the clarification.

so you mean that it will re-sync to a changed tempo if i manually reset the SYNC button. this indeed seems to work for me and is acceptable.

i had assumed it would automatically adjust to a changed/changing tempo in the host.

i (obviously) like it better to auto-resync. i'm glad to see this changed in EVE ONE. thanks for that.
do you anticipate this being part of EVE 2?

best regards.

1) I downloaded the Eve One beta (but not the samples)
2) I have the Eve (full demo) also installed..

now.. I already have sounds in Eve One..

Question:

Are these things related?

yes, with Eve (full demo) you already got the samples
allowed in EVE ONE

ok, some things i notice:

- in the lfo section, a ctrl-click on the 'targets' 'cut' does not return the control to a central zero position

- the cut amount as an lfo target seems to have a shallow range. it seems to go from a little to a little more, rather than to 'extreme' amount...

- why does the 'number of voices' control only go as low as four ? why not one ?

- i liked your idea with the a,b,c echo controls, and i understand the logic of having it subtle. but really, it is too subtle. please think about making one of them an 'extreme' setting so we can have some fun ! not everyone will wants to make dreamy pads and analog squelches. but if you restrict the controls then that's all anyone *can* make :(

- the sound wizard is a brilliant idea and nicely implemented. maybe there could be an 'effects wizard' as well ? (for eve 2 maybe)

this is all looking very nice !

the tremelo does not go slow enough. i think it very rare that someone will use anything in this control in the top 90 per cent of its range. most of the range must be slow ! i think it is pretty much unusable at present range settings...

EVE One (obviously) needs some fine tuning. Thanks for your feedback.

Thats a cool look liqih! The effects stand out better and the whole thing is easier to understand at a glance :)

the deafult value by ctrl-click can be set in the skin.xml, it's user editable, more info in the help we are writing

thanks, we'll check that

for one you set "mono"

ok, we'll see to extend the possibilities

it's already there, <grin>

the sound wizard.xml can be used to make effects presets only as well

Hey Liqih, any chance of re-doing EVE 1.8 with this skin?? It would be cool if you could. :)
