He'll say 'sorry mate, can't be done with Synthedit at the moment'
Except he'll probably say it in french: 'le compagnon désolé, ne peut pas être fait avec Synthedit à l'heure actuelle'

im not completely sure it can't be done cos to be honest Im not really sure what Rons asking for anyway, but I don't think SE is currently flexible enough.. SM probably is though.

OK, just skipped back a couple of pages.. here's a simplified proposal: a notepad which responds to program changes, so you can enter up to 128 different lines of lyrics, then switch them using Tracktions preset management features, and save them as an fxb.. it might even be possible to make the preset names automatically take the first few words of text for that line. This arrangement would avoid the need for plugs to pass data between themselves (not sure how that could be done in SE or SM)..
..or did I miss something?

I really think that it would be easier to just have a new trackpad for each new text segment... I might be wrong

i've almost finished putting in the code for multiple page stickies.
i'll post it here as soon as it's done, but bear in mind that at the moment this is just for having several pages of notes on the sticky, which isn't that big a deal by itself.
what it means, however, is that it's only a small step away from having the actual control system put in to have the notes change depending on where in the song you are - whoever wants to step up and do that side of things will have a really easy job of it as the interface stuff is already done.

Kick, punch, it's all in the mind.

well you know how stepchild works... notes control the different "pages". this method would be the same. a note controls which page pops up. mouse in the notes for page, and bling.
hey haydxn can you code in font size please? we need that at least.
thanks so much everyone
